Chapters

How do you make your service better? You remove as much as humanly possible. If you look at Elon's rocket engines, you can actually see they get simpler as time goes on. And so for your service, the best thing you can do for your customers is not to add new features that they potentially could use, potentially might not use, but rather to take things away that they don't get value out of or that make the service difficult to use. So you can simply ask, what sucks about this? And then remove that. That's essentially what they did with the iPhone, by the way. They went, what sucks about a smartphone? And they removed it. The iPhone is very simple compared to many phones, and yet it's the most popular brand in the United States.
