If you don't know what a lead magnet is, it's basically something you're giving away for free that would draw in the type of leads you're trying to get. That's where it gets the name lead magnet. These can take a million different shapes or forms, but oftentimes it's a template. It's a free training. Maybe it's a PDF guide. Anything that could give real, tangible value to your ideal client. Now, the key here, and this is something a lot of people forget, your lead magnet needs to be a full solution to a narrow problem. Most people create lead magnets that provide a partial solution to a very broad problem, and that's no good, because that's not creating creating real, tangible value for your audience. So instead of how to save $5,000 in taxes this year and giving away a few basic strategies that almost everybody knows about and already uses, I would instead make five strategies for airtight books and records. And then your sub headline would be something along the lines of no more back and forth with your CPA during tax season. Right. You're providing a complete solution to this relatively narrow problem.
