Stop trying to grow by offering more services, you're just creating more headache for yourself. Now I get it, right? Because you think, oh, if I add advisory or CFO or bookkeeping or tax strategy and all these different things, then I'm going to make more money because people are going to hire me for more of my services. But here's the reality, right? Because more services creates more complexity, more operational overhead, and more moving parts to manage. And most importantly, it creates a much longer Runway before your company is systemized and you're able to get out of the day to day. The most successful firms that I work with, they have one core offer that they scale to at least 1 or 2 million a year before they start to diversify into other lines of service.
