If you're afraid of dumping your bad clients who aren't worth your time, then that's a clear signal that your marketing sucks. The reason you're afraid is you don't know exactly where your next client is coming from and you don't know when they're going to reach out to you. If you don't know where your next client is coming from, then yeah, why would you get rid of a current client? You're comfortable. You're still bringing in some money, even if they'll never pay you exactly what you're worth. What you need to do is get your brand right, get your messaging right, and get your marketing machine on point so you can have a predictable and reliable stream of new clients coming in. People who have the problem you're equipped to solve and who have the money to pay you what you're worth. That's how you're going to take your firm from something that's pretty meh, kind of just a glorified 9 to 5 to something that's an actual investment vehicle and going to make those big bucks you got into business for in the first place.
