Most of your problems aren't real. They're just up here. Now. Most people think their problems are pretty surface level. You don't have enough money, you're overweight, you're lonely. You can try to believe that you're gonna be happy once those surface level problems are fixed. When you get rich, you get jacked, or you have all these amazing friends, but you probably won't. And that's the thing. These made up problems in our heads are way harder to solve than the material problems right in front of us. I mean, what's easier? Going to the gym a couple times a week or learning how to love yourself? So the real answer is to look outside of yourself for your source of happiness. The way you, at any given moment cannot be the basis for how you see yourself. For me, I rely on Jesus to be the perfect man that I can never be. He lived a perfect life and he died a brutal death on the cross so that I don't have to. And that's something that never changes, unlike whatever goes on up here.
