These final chapters (41–42) and Appendix complete the author’s apocalyptic narrative: after the sealing of the righteous and Christ’s return, the wicked are destroyed, Satan is bound on a desolate earth for a thousand years, the righteous reign and participate in judging the lost, and at the close of the millennium the wicked are resurrected, judged, and consumed with the wickedness they embraced. The earth is purified by fire and remade—a new heaven and a new earth with the New Jerusalem as the eternal home of the redeemed. The Appendix supplies documentary references, historical citations, and editorial notes (including trustees’ revision dates) supporting the book’s historical assertions and prophetic interpretations.
