Short excerpt from a Precursor Ventures video/podcast emphasizing a venture-capital philosophy: the entrepreneur should be the hero, investors should support from the background, and trusting that the right entrepreneurs will find you even if you’re not loudly self-promotional.

Maybe it's just the era of Venture where I was brought up, which is like, the entrepreneur is the hero. You are there to support them. The story should never be more about you than it is about them. And if you can, like, accept that basic premise, it's actually okay to be in the background. But you also have to believe the people you're looking for will find you, even if you're not as loud as other people.
