Opening VCR for League of Legends summer split features a lyrical monologue using a cigarette as metaphor for betrayal and self-destruction. The speaker cycles between pleading and accusation, repeating "I'm like a cigarette" while describing being discarded after giving everything.
You care what you hear, you care what you breathe. Gave you everything, you threw it all away. For me, I'm like a cigarette, I'm like a cigarette. You act like I can't steal your baby too. Stay for me, I'm like a cigarette, I'm like a cigarette. Come on! You pop up into the moment, you paid a penny, little penny you did. You never noticed I broke it. You deny the kind of person you are. You can't want to feel what you wish to be. You can't live sarcastic sincerity. You can't win your guilt by defeating your pain. You can't watch you fear. You can't watch you fear. I gave you everything, you threw it away. Put me out like a cigarette. I'm like a cigarette. Smoke like a cancer cell, you play me too sick. Put me out like a cigarette. I'm like a cigarette.
