This is a YouTube video titled "Books that changed my life- Part 7" containing a personal reflection recorded on April 17, 2024. The speaker discusses the book "Ajaya Role of the Dice" by Anand Neel Kantan, which presents the Mahabharata from Duryodhana's perspective, encouraging viewers to consider multiple viewpoints in difficult situations.

Ever feel ghosted by a prospect or deal with a cranky boss. It's easy to jump to conclusions, but sometimes there's more to their story. This reminds me of the Mahabharata and its portrayal of Duryodhana. Growing up we see things in black and white. Kauravas are bad, Pandavas are good, but life is not that simple. Ajaya Role of the Dice by Anand Neel Kantan opened my eyes. It tells the Mahabharat from Duryodhana's point of view, showing him as a champion of equality challenging entrenched norms. This book taught me to look beyond the surface to understand others perspectives. So next time you are in a tough situation, remember there could be more to the story. Think from their perspective.
