If you pull anything from this podcast, it's this. The only person that's going to be looking out for you is you. And you have to make sure that you are. I was able to do well in sales right away without much of a background is because I was a teacher. And when I was a teacher, that's also the key to the whole thing, is being able to understand what the students are thinking. It feels like you can expand your horizons and you can learn new skills by going somewhere else. Don't worry about your resume. Don't worry about how it looks to other people. You know, like, that to me is like, you know, way more important than, you know, like, an extra 10k on the base salary or like, this benefit or like, oh, this, you know, these guys let dogs in the office. It's like, dude, you're way better. You're way better off. But all that considered, if the people that you're working with are not people that you get along with or that you feel like you can't trust, then it's all for. It doesn't. It doesn't matter. You should. You should get out. Come on.
