Your SDRs just nuked your deliverability.

SDRs are adding unvalidated emails to sequences and tanking your bounce rates. The speaker breaks down why this happens, what it costs you, and how to stop it before your domain reputation gets destroyed.
What I find very common when there's a bounce spike is because people are throwing like a lunch or a conference or there's been recent territory changes. And when you look at your bounce rate, your bounce rate on step one of the sequence is always the highest. Because if somebody got to the step two or step three, the email was just attempted. So the bounce rate spikes every time you upload leads. So if you upload a lot of leads, it will bounce at a higher rate. I never thought about that. Correct. But also people, it's not only don't think about that. People don't even think about checking the data of what step of the sequence are we bouncing or how are the uploads correlated to the bounce. The other thing that happens is imagine a big organization, your IBM and the team says, guys, we have an event in California. We're going to organize, you know, a DJ and a party. We want to invite all the prospects there. So what do the SDRs do? They go in CRM, find every prospect that is in California and put them into a sequence. They don't validate the email. You're correct. But they don't have a workflow to validate the email. It's revenue operations that was validating the emails.
