Stress is a feedback. It's your body's way of saying something needs attention. When you listen early, you prevent crisis. But if— when you keep ignoring when your body's telling you that it needs attention, that's when you go into crisis, right? Chronic stress is going to hurt. So I tell my patients, don't shoot the messenger. The message that you're getting is basically telling you to decode it. Every symptom, like fatigue to irritability, is a message about imbalance. And an invitation to course correct. So listen to those symptoms and don't try to just get every medication to fix your fatigue. Listen why you could have fatigue. And this is the whole basis of my mind-body medicine-based, neurobiology-based practice that I am adapting to now in my practice.
