Ray Sorrell says he won't date lazy people because life is too short to waste it. He calls himself a dream chaser and says he's allergic to poverty, looking for a partner who hustles and pursues goals, not someone content to idle away days.
Oh my God, I hate to say this, but, um, some people just lazy. Get up, get a job, do something with your life.

Somebody gotta say it. I mean, just laying around all day, never do nothing. Listen, depending on the type of person you are, that depending on the type of character you bring Lazy people get on my nerves. I cannot date a person, be involved with the person, spend time with people who are lazy. Now listen, I get it, on your day off sometimes you just want to, you know, lay around, do— but life is too short. Life is too short to just lay around all day. Like, what are you doing? Now I get it, you have a 9 to 5, maybe you even retired, you're close to retirement age, you got kids, but you need to get up and do something. Because if that boss Retire you tomorrow, uh-huh, involuntarily, then what you gonna do? See, see, I'm a dream chaser. I'm a person who believes in getting up and getting it. I'm a person who believes that, you know what, laying around the house is just for lazy people. Like, every day I'm doing something, and, and, and it's hard to date me because I'm always busy. Now listen, don't get me wrong, do your thing. If that's what you do, you want to sit around the house and then do nothing, that's on you. But we probably won't be a match. Life is short. And if one person is laying around all day and the other person is a, you know, a get up, a goer, a person who, you know, move and shake and try to meet people and network and try to get to that bag. I'm talking about really get to that bag, not trying to steal from nobody, not trying to hustle, but get that bag. Might not be a good match. But then again, you might be one of those people that needs somebody to do nothing. You might want somebody to be in poverty with you. But I don't know about y'all, I am allergic to poverty. Move, move.
Love is a choice.
It's God's plan.
