I can't believe I'm about to say this. You need to hear this though. I gotta say it. I'm sorry, it's, it's, it's embarrassing, but I have to say this. There are so many people who are self-centered. Everything is about them. Everything surrounds them. The world stops when they come into the room. And these are the people who want to date you. Run, Forrest, run! It's real easy to spot these people. They are always prioritizing everything about them. Them, them, them, them, them. Let me get a bowl of mushroom soup, but please, please, please remove the mushrooms. They'll be on a date talking about themselves over and over and over and over again. Don't ask you nothing about yourself. They don't ask you what school you went to, how many kids you got. You know why? They don't care. Do I care? No. They are only there to waste your time. And I promise you, this is a real thing. I'm so tired of it. It's a real thing. Red flag, red flag, red flag. What's unfortunate is that most of us have been in this. Like, you might not even know you're dealing with a self-centered person, but you are. For instance, you ask them what they want to eat, or you compromise. I know you don't eat this kind of food, but can we go to this restaurant? It always has to be about them. Even if you say, let's go to the movies, they say, yes, but I got to watch this kind of movie. They're self-centered and not thinking about no one else but themselves. Now understand, this does not mean that a person is selfish or self-centered if they want certain things their way. That's not the issue. It's all the time. Because at the end of the day, it's supposed to be about me and you, you and me. It's not supposed to just be about one person. And if any relationship starts off unhealthy, it's going to end unhealthy. Love is a choice, it's God's plan.
