Ray Sorrell performs as Joseph questioning the virgin birth, declaring he won't be made a fool of and that he's sick of Mary playing with him. He then pivots to modern times, planning to hit Club Jerusalem and meet someone new, with a joke about Gabriel as a door-knocker.
Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man and not willing to make a public example, was minded to put her away privately. I wonder, did something else happen? Hey, but then, then she gonna say she pregnant by God. What kind of fool she think I am? You think I, I believe you pregnant by God? You wasn't even that fine, man. I'm sick of you playing with me, man. Playing with my face, man. I'm going to Club Jerusalem tonight and I'm getting me a fine little young lady. Hey baby, somebody at the door. They said their name is Gabriel. You know what that is?
