In this October 2017 video, local realtor Renee Hahn of Downing-Fry Realty provides a concise market update for Naples, Florida. She reports that the summer was strong across most segments, highlighting that homes priced at $300,000 and below continued to be a hot‑selling segment and that there was a modest pickup in the million‑plus price tier. While Hurricane Irma caused significant disruption for many homeowners, Hahn notes that the real‑estate market showed little immediate impact, though she cautions that it is still early to gauge the fall season’s trajectory. She explains that a more detailed quarterly report will be released the following month after a month‑long data reconciliation process. Hahn concludes by inviting viewers to contact her for buying or selling needs, emphasizing her motto of “when good enough just isn’t” and her focus on long‑term relationships and above‑and‑beyond service.

Hello, this is Renee Han with Downing Fry Realty serving Naples and surrounding areas. I wanted to give you a quick blurb before you read the real estate monthly market update that I've provided for you. I just want to let you know it was actually a pretty strong summer in most of the segments. You know, $300,000 and below continues to be a hot selling segment in terms of the number of sales, so that continues to do well. And we had a little pickup in the million-plus segment as well. So things seem to be strong in terms of the summer. Certainly Irma was a hiccup. I don't mean to downplay it by calling it a hiccup because there were some, you know, devastation to many homeowners and to families that are continuing to be displaced. But in the real estate market, it truly didn't seem to have much effect. It's still early to tell, too early to tell. You know, how the fall season is going to shape up. But we're pretty optimistic that early indicators, um, you know, seem to give point to the fact that people are still interested in purchasing in Naples, and homeowners that were considering selling are still moving forward for those with those plans. So, uh, be on the watch out. Next month I will send my deeper dive quarterly update, and I always like to point that out because it's always a month behind. So even though September was the end of the third quarter.
We need a month to reconcile the data and make sure that what I report to you is accurate and comprehensive.
So be on the lookout for that next month. But in the meantime, if you've got any real estate needs whatsoever that I can help you with on the buying or selling side, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Again, Renee Han, 239-287-2576. My motto is when good enough just isn't, and I truly run my business that way. It's not about short-term transactions.
It's about long-term relationships built on above and beyond service before, during, and after the transaction.
So have a fantastic day, and I hope to have the opportunity to do business with you in the future.
