Hello, my name is Renee Han and I am your Naples real estate expert. In this segment we're going to tackle one of the questions that comes up which is, "Tell me what the weather is like in Naples?" Of which I always of course respond, "Well, what time of year?" So we'll call this unveiling Naples, Florida's weather symphony. Naples, Florida is of course renowned for its beautiful climate and surroundings by the way, making it a popular destination destination for both tourists and residents alike. The city's weather is one of its greatest assets because we have pleasant conditions throughout the year. In this segment, we'll take a closer look at the normal weather patterns of Naples, Florida over the course of the year. Now remember, not every year looks the same, so this is going to be speaking in generalities. So when we talk about winter, that's when all of you up north are hibernating, but down here it's our favorite time of year. So we'll refer to winter as about that December through February-March period. Naples experiences its most mild weather during the winter months. The average temperatures typically range from about 60°F at night to around 75°F during the day. Talk about beautiful! This weather is mostly dry and sunny, making it the peak season for snowbirds and tourists seeking respite from the colder climates up north. And we always talk about without the fact that we can tell what the weather's doing up north by how late or how early some of those tourists or the seasonal residents start to come down. Spring, we'll talk about, which we'll refer to as about that March through May period. Spring is also a beautiful time in Naples. Temperatures tend to generally rise gradually. Nighttime lows will hit the upper 60s to maybe the low 70s degree Fahrenheit. Daytime highs range from about the mid-70s to the mid-80s. Rainfall starts to increase as spring progresses, but it's typically manageable and contributes to lush, lush vegetation in the area. So we talk about April showers bring May flowers. We're on a slightly different rain schedule, I'd say, than the north is, but we'll talk about that more later. But again, springtime is still such a beautiful time here in Naples. As we move into the summer, June through August, summer in Naples is characterized by hot and humid weather. No surprise there, but I'd argue that it's just as hot and humid sometimes in other areas of the US. Daytime temperatures commonly reach the 90 degrees around that area with high humidity levels, which tends to make it feel even warmer. Frequent afternoon thunderstorms provide relief from the heat and and do help maintain the region's vibrant greenery. So up north, when you're just getting done with your rainy season, we are just about to start embarking on ours. Now let's talk last about fall, so September through November. Fall weather in Naples is similar to spring with gradually decreasing temperatures. Nights will become a little bit cooler in the low 60°F while daytime temperatures can range from the mid-70s to the low 90s. The rainy season will sometimes trickle into and continue into the fall, but by November the weather becomes much drier and more comfortable. So you can see, you know, up north, depending on where you are, um, you know, people may hibernate in the winter. Down here, the season that gets probably the most constructive, we'll feedback is summers for us, particularly the later summers during the rainy season. Hurricane season, it's important to notate, you know, our region, no surprise, can be prone to hurricanes with the Atlantic hurricane season extending from about June 1st to November 30th. While hurricanes directly hitting Naples are actually, believe it or not, relatively rare, I know we've had two in the last 10 years, but before that it was much less frequent. Again, because even though they're rare, the city can still experience the impacts of nearby storms such as heavy rainfall, strong winds, and so you always want to stay advised, particularly during the hurricane season, of what's happening on the storm front because even if we don't have a hurricane, we might have tropical storms or other things. So in conclusion, In conclusion, Naples, Florida enjoys a generally mild, mild and sunny climate, which again helps us attract visitors and residents seeking a warm tropical environment. Understanding the normal weather patterns throughout the year can help you plan your activities and make the most of this beautiful region. Whether you're interested in the warm winter months, the lush spring and fall seasons, or the sunny but humid summers, Naples has something to offer everyone throughout the year. I always say once you learn after your first year of what the Naples weather patterns are, it helps you adjust. And I'll give you one example. When we first moved here, we moved here in late July, early August. We came off of a lake, so we're big boaters. We've always been big boaters and couldn't wait to start boating down in Naples, Florida. And so June, July, we've already talked about that, it's during the summer rainy season. We would go out in the afternoon because it'd take us a while to get going in the morning. We'd get out in the afternoon and it'd be beautifully sunny, and then by the time we left the dock, it'd be storming, lightning, crazy. And so we'd go back to the dock, then 30 minutes later it'd be beautiful, and we'd say, oh, can we go back out? What we've learned is it's okay to boat in this rainy season, but make sure you go out in the morning, not the afternoon, so everything can be accounted for. If you have any questions about Naples, Florida, or want information information on our weather patterns. I am happy to put you in touch with some great resources, or can, we can talk about it. But it's a beautiful place. Don't let the fear of hurricanes scare you away, because I would argue that other areas of the US actually get hit much more frequently and harder than we do. So everyone have a wonderful day. Thank you so much for joining.
