And of course, reach out anytime if I can be of assistance to you on your journey to explore Naples living. Naples, Florida is often thought of as a secluded paradise nestled in the southwesternmost corner of the Sunshine State. And while it is true that it can take a while to drive down our long state of Florida to reach us, our location offers a unique blend of tranquility and accessibility. Naples is renowned for its pristine beaches, world-class shopping, and vibrant art scene. Our laid-back atmosphere and friendly locals make it a popular destination for both visitors and residents alike. So you may find Naples is actually all you need most of the time, but for those rare occasions that you may be looking for a change of pace or surrounds, it is surprisingly easy to get to some of Florida's most popular attractions for that weekend getaway. Let's start with our Orlando, the magic of Orlando. It's approximately 3 hours by car, and there's lots of things to do such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and the vibrant downtown Orlando. Let's move over to Miami, the city that never sleeps. It's approximately 2.5 hours by car, and again, there's lots of things to do— South Beach, Wynwood Walls, Art Deco District, Bayside Marketplace— and you've got Everglades National Park in between. You can even jump on a short cruise cruise to reach the Bahamas for a cool experience. Now let's move over to Tampa Bay, a coastal gem that's approximately 2 hours by car. And again, lots of things to do: Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay, Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa Museum of Art, Clearwater Beach, Tampa Bay History Center, and lots of athletic events. These 3 cities also offer some great concert venues and sporting events. Just don't forget that our area has some great spring training for baseball experiences. And we are even pursuing a professional soccer experience right here in Naples. Another destination that's easy to get to is the Florida Keys, the island paradise. It's approximately a 3.5-hour drive depending on where you're going in the Keys, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. Or you can actually jump on a short boat ride aboard the Key West Express and be down there in a matter of an hour without having to drive. It's amazing. So some things you can do there, you can go to Key West, Duval Street, Hemingway House, Dry Tortugas National Park, snorkeling, diving in the coral reefs, even some lobster hunting. So if you're looking to go a little further away than the ones that I've mentioned within our wonderful state of Florida, we also have a variety of airport options to suit your travel needs. Punta Gorda, it's only 45 minutes north of Naples, and it offers convenient flights to major cities throughout the United States. You can go to RSW, otherwise known as Fort Myers, It's about a 30 to 45 minute drive east of Naples, northeast of Naples, and provides a wide range of domestic and again, international flights. We've got a private airport, Naples Municipal Airport, that has convenient access to Naples for private aircraft. Fort Lauderdale's only about 2.5 hours away southeast of Naples and offers a wide range again of domestic and international flights. And the last option is Miami International. It's about 2.5 hours away. It's one of the busiest airports in the United States and offers flights to destinations worldwide. You could even venture up if you're at that 2.5 mark and go into Tampa. All lots of options that are in relatively short distance that can give you reach to the entire United States and world. So while Naples may seem like a secluded paradise, and I do say paradise because it is, our location does offer the best of both worlds. The tranquility of Southern Retreat, and the convenience of being close to some of Florida's most popular attractions and easy access to worldwide and domestic options. So whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or a mix of both, Naples has something to offer for everyone. So don't discount us so quick. We are on that southern west, southwesternmost part of Florida, and there's a lot of goodness that comes from that. Such as the weather. Being south of the tropics makes a big difference in those cold winter months. But again, I'm just here to tell you the truth and reveal some things about Naples. Join me next time when we tackle another aspect of Naples living. Again, this is Renee Han, your Naples real estate expert, and you can find me at yournaplesexpert.com.
