Cool Tools You Never Know You Needed

All right, I want to show you a really cool calculator. This is actually a tool that I found that can come and fulfill many purposes because as you can see there's lots of different calculators that you can use here. So I just wanted to share this really awesome tool. What I'm going to focus on, if you go into the construction calculators here, there are a couple different options that you can play with. I'll show you what that looks like. Lots of different different carpentry ones, lawn ones to do, you know, if you're, if you're trying to figure out how much mulch you need, that kind of thing. What I did, I did two things. I did a board and batten layout calculator and I did a wainscoting layout calculator. And so this is really cool if you've ever had to plan for something on a wall. You can be a pretty cumbersome and tricky calculation manually, but let's look at the wainscoting. So I put in here how much room I had to work with, what's the width of the wall, what the style width is, how many panels I want, and hit calculate. Look what it does down here. It basically tells you how much width to give in between each of them to fit it, and it typically will give you different options as well. This one has one. I'll show you one with a board and batten that shows you two options, but But this is pretty cool. You tell it how many panels you want, it breaks it out. You tell it how much space you're putting, you know, how wide your panels are. Pretty cool. Then look at the board and batten one. I said my wall width, what's the batten width, approximate spacing I want, and it gave me two options. I can use doing it using 10 battens, I can do it 11 battens. So pretty, pretty cool tool. You'll thank me one day when you're going back and looking at these calculators. If you've got something cool to share, make sure you share it back.
