All right, the timing of this one is perfect because I, as I sit here and get ready to talk to you about this topic, my stomach is literally growling. Today what I want to talk about is the, some of the most favorite seafood restaurants in Naples by our residents and visitors. So we're going to talk about that. I'm going to hit 15 of them, um, and then I'm gonna really be hungry because seafood is absolutely my favorite, favorite food. So we all know Naples, Florida is known for its gorgeous beaches, luxury living, and oh yeah, some of the best seafood you may get to taste in Florida. And after scouring Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, all of these things, and talking to lots of So that you don't have to, we've gone ahead and fished out our top seafood recommendations for restaurants that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. Ready to dive in? We're going to start with number 1. It's USS Nemo Restaurant. I remember when I moved to Naples, people had recommended this restaurant to me and I drove by and I said, really? It's in a strip mall. But don't let that fool you. Located on Tamiami Trail North, prepare to be reeled in by the submarine vibes at USS Nemo, where seafood meets Asian fusion. Their miso broiled sea bass, mwah, it was my favorite. It's so good and it's practically a sea legend. Number 2, the Turtle Club Restaurant. This is a favorite not just because the food is good, but it's one of the few beachfront restaurants, true beachfront restaurants, where you can actually stick your toes in the sand if you've got one of the outdoor tables in the area and is located on Gulf Shore Drive, not bribe, Uh, toes in the sand, sea bass in your hand. Another area I love the sea bass. The Turtle Club lets you dine right on the beach, which makes it the perfect place for pretending you're on a fancy vacation even if you already live here. Number 3, Mr. Big Fish. This one took me a while to get to myself. It had been recommended again, very unassuming from the outside. It is in Neapolitan Way, um, which is really close off of US 41. And at Mr. Big Fish, it's all about big portions and big flavors. Lobster tail and angry lobster pasta will have you anything but angry, unless of course you have to share. Number 4, T. Michael's Steak and Lobster. This is located on Gulf Shore Boulevard, right in the, uh, the, the Venetian Village, or the Village on Venetian Bay. I always get that screwed up. Steak, lobster, why not both? T. Michael's overlooks Venetian Bay, where you can enjoy their seared scallops and feel like you own the place. Even when you don't. Number 5, Truluck's Ocean Finest Seafood and Crab. This is on 4th Avenue, so it's got a front on 5th Avenue, which if you don't know is downtown, but the entrance is back through the back, uh, 4th Avenue South. And if you're feeling fancy, Truluck's is where seafood meets romance. Treat yourself to a fresh stone crab and a side of live music, because let's face it, you deserve it. Truluck's is also good for other non-seafood place. Number 6, The Claw Bar. This 9th Street. It has a sister restaurant that I'm going to talk about in a minute. Uh, seafood towers and chic vibes, yes please! The Claw Bar is perfect for when you want to eat like royalty but feel like you're in a secret club. Number 7, The Boathouse on Naples Bay. This is on Broad Street over by the docks. Let's get laid back with a bowl of seafood gumbo at The Boathouse with those waterfront views of Naples Bay. You might just forget you're supposed to be back to work. Number 8, a close neighbor, is The Dock at Creighton Cove. This is on 12th Avenue where lobster omelet and mahi tacos and casual Florida vibes are what you're gonna see. What more could you ask for? The Dock is the go-to spot for seafood with a local twist and oh, those bay views. Number 9, I always mispronounce, La Prisceria. This is on 5th Avenue downtown where they serve lobster ravioli. Anyone for that? La Pesceria serves up Italian seafood pasta in a setting that will make you want to sip wine and say ciao bella while devouring everything on your plate. Number 10, I'm running out of fingers here, Grouper and Chips. This is also on 9th Street, not to be confused with 9th Avenue, 9th Street North. It's got a low-key cozy vibe serving up grouper baskets like nobody's business. Grouper and Chips is perfect for a quick bite after the beach with no reservations required. Just bring your appetite. Number 11, Sea Salt, where you're going to go to 3rd Street South and get ready to taste seafood with a twist at Sea Salt. The raw bar is out of this world, and their creative use of house-made sea salts will have you wondering why you ever used boring table salt. Number 12, Baylin's of Naples. Like Turtle Club, this one has a beachfront dining situation with lobster tails and sunset views. Yes, it's as dreamy as it sounds. Baylin's make you feel like you're living in a travel ad, but the food is 100% real. Again, that one's on Gulf Shore Drive, not Gulf Shore Boulevard. Gulf Shore Drive, two different places. So if you can find Turtle Club, you're going to be able to find Baylin's. Number 13, I can count, Pinchers. And there's various locations. The one in Naples is actually down in Tin City. This is a casual, no-fuss, and all about the fresh locally sourced seafood. Pinchers is where you go for stone crabs and grouper without needing to break your fancy clothes. I like— break out your fancy clothes rather. I don't know how you break your fancy clothes. I like to take my family there. They're more of the casual seafood place. And number 14, this is the sister one to the Claw Bar I talked about earlier. It is the Bay House. This one is on Walkerbilt Road, and if you're looking for a southern twist on seafood, the Bay House serves up fried oysters, shrimp and grits, and a whole lot of charm. Plus those river views, chef's kiss. Kiss. I cannot talk today. And number 15, Swan River Seafood. So if you go back to Nemo— USS Nemo's— you're going to be really close to Swan River Seafood on Tamiami Trail. And the seafood market meets restaurant. Talk about fresh. At Swan River, you can literally pick your fish and have it cooked to order. Clam chowder and lobster rolls are just the beginning. One other one that's not Naples proper, but I'm going to go ahead and mention it is Doug's Seafood. If you're looking for lobster rolls, it is a very casual place, and honestly, when I go in, it often smells like seafood, which can be a little bit of a turn-off, but their lobster rolls, mm, they're so good. I'm hungry. So whether you're craving upscale or beachside, Naples has seafood spots for every vibe. These restaurants serve up the best that the ocean has to offer, so grab your fork and dive in. Let us know which ones are your favorites, and don't forget, bring your appetite and maybe some stretchy pants for when you leave.
