I am not going to start this video with all right, because when I look at my short videos, I'm always saying all right this, all right that. It is all right, but today I want to share with you a really cool chart that came out from Collier County at an event they recently hosted for real estate professionals in the area. And this is a great overview, so I wanted to come on and share it with you. Let's start with the population, and this is for the county, so not the city of Naples, the county. 411,611. That was 2023. 4 reported population. The regional employment, 187,933. Interestingly enough, you won't see it on this chart, but they talked about the sectors that, that is, uh, that make up for the majority of that. It is not going to be manufacturing. We do have a little bit of manufacturing, but no surprise here, it's very much a service industry. So you'll see a lot of tourism, financial industry, construction, lots of construction jobs because look, the area is developing, um, and people are moving here. And looking for additional housing. So that's another one. The other thing I will say is you'll find a lot of business owners and professional professions like legal, certainly real estate. There are 9,000 agents here. Oh my gosh, it's crazy, 9,000 agents. The median family income is $104,300. Now that, um, it seems, is, it seems high, but remember that the cost of living here is more expensive, so it sort of needs to be. Crime rates— I've actually done a whole nother video about that— it's 11.4%, way, way, way below the state, way, way, way below the average for the US. And then if you look at commute times— oh, and I'm sorry, this is what crime rate has, you know, compares— and then average commute times, a little bit higher than what you'll find in other places. So I thought this was fascinating. I thought I would share it with you. And if you ever want to dive into any of these areas call me. I can always get you connected with resources if I don't have the information or the ability to share that information with you. My name is Renee Hahn, your Naples real estate expert, and I am here to serve you. So if you are currently here and thinking about making a move to other areas of Naples, maybe you're upsizing, maybe you're downsizing, I'm your girl. Or if you're thinking of coming to the area either part-time or full-time, I'm your girl. I'm here. So when you think Naples, think Renee. When you think luxury, think Renee. And I am just going to wish you a fantastic day. Thanks.
