In this live‑stream segment of "Connections in Southwest Florida," host Renee Hahn introduces guest Jan Goldsmith, founder of Video of a Lifetime, a service that creates personalized family legacy videos. Jan briefly shares her background—growing up in Northern Kentucky, studying there, and spending most of her career in television—before the call drops due to connectivity issues. Renee apologizes for the technical problems, explains that the interview will be rescheduled, and provides a brief overview of Video of a Lifetime’s offering: professionally produced videos that capture life’s special moments for families to preserve their legacy. The segment ends with a reminder to visit the business’s website.

All right, Jan, it started it. We are at the top of the hour. We've had some technical difficulties here, but I'm hoping Jan can hear me. Jan, can you hear me?
I can hear you. I'll let you know if it starts getting some static or something.
Okay, wonderful. Well, welcome Southwest Florida and to those near and far. My name is Renee Hahn, and as you know, I'm bringing you Connections in Southwest Florida, where we connect local people with local businesses. And I'm very excited today to bring Jan, who is part of Video of a Lifetime. And Jan, before we jump into the business side of things, I'd love for you to give a personal introduction to everyone.
Okay, well, first of all, thank you for doing this. Highlighting the businesses in this area. That's really, that's really a great thing to do. It's fun. You know, we're all so used to now seeing everybody on the air from their homes, so people will understand if we have some technical difficulties, I'm sure. I have been in television most of my life. I grew up in Northern Kentucky— go UK— and then I went to college there, and then my first job before I graduated It looks like Jan has frozen up.
Be patient with us here a moment. You've got to love modern technology. The best of intentions. I'm going to try to see if I can grab her. Hopefully she'll exit and come back in. And I hope everybody's having a great week. This is the only way online these days that you actually get to see somebody without a mask and remember what their smiles look like. I don't know about you, but I sat in a full room the other day in high school orientation for my oldest daughter. And I, we all sat there with our masks on and I looked left and I looked right. And for whatever reason, you know, it makes it, I shouldn't say for whatever reason, with the masks on rather, it makes it really tough to see, you know, who was in the room. And you take for granted how much your whole face is used to identify you. Well, folks, it looks like, Jeanne is having some technical difficulty and I don't want to keep everyone on. It's a great business and we'll have to see about rescheduling it to give everyone an opportunity to hear because she's got kind of a cool story and a cool business that is worth people hearing. So I'll give her one more second if everyone will just be patient with us and, and hope that she Rejoins here. Well, it looks like Jan's not gonna make it back. She must have been having a connectivity issue. That's always the challenge with these livestream videos. Sometimes they work brilliantly and other times not so much. So I'll tell you what, we'll get Jan from Video of a Lifetime rescheduled. In the meantime, feel free to look up her web address below and check out some of her services. I don't want to speak on her behalf because I know she'll do a much better job describing, um, the business. But she essentially puts together— her and her partner put together these awesome videos that are really there to capture, um, life's moments, whether it's, um, for a special occasion or just to be able to have your family legacy live on. So we'll get Jan rescheduled. Again, my sincere apologies for the technical difficulties. The internet is just one of those things that you can't always predict. And I'm sorry that, that she seems to have fallen off, but everybody have a fantastic day. Thanks.
