What's up YouTube? It's autumn now and you can see from the beautiful colours and the mist rolling in, it's really breathtaking at this time of year. I've been supported to take the weekend off farm to really wrap this up before we get it back to the editor for the second look in and I just want to say a huge thank you and tell you a few of the thoughts going through my mind right now. Well, it's been a labour of love. I really was expecting to get regenerative agriculture out this spring before our busy production season began. And I wanted to do that because I knew how busy I would be bringing back our internship program this year. And just the amount of work and clarity of mind that needs to go into, particularly editing a book. It's harder than writing and you need to be very focused and very clear and very uninterrupted, which is quite hard to do while running a farm and farming cohorts of interns too. We've had a really intense summer. It's been an interesting year. It's brought up a lot of things, just having our internship come back, but also having big projects like this going on in the background. I'm incredibly grateful for how the Kickstarter has gone. It's raised €150,000, sold over a thousand books in, in the first three days. It's fantastic. And it just goes to show how many people are looking for this kind of information. And as I've said before, this is the sort of information I wish that had been available when I started learning. So I've really dedicated some years to putting this together to help people get started smart in the lowest cost, affordable way that you can actually receive information. Books are super undervalued. They're like eggs, I always say, because hens is one of my favorite enterprise running pastured laying hens. But eggs are characteristically undervalued in all countries. They're just a low cost protein. And likewise, books are really undervalued. The sort of money that people can spend on a book this thick and this dense information is what you typically spend on a meal out or going to a cinema with a family or something like so compared to other forms of educational content, it's really a very accessible form of information. I've had a few questions about e publishing formats, etc. And I just wanted to update people that this will be a PDF only. To convert a book like this to different formats is a nightmare because it's full of tables and photographs. There's over a thousand photographs and lots of infographics and tables. So I'm only going to put this out as a PDF file. I'm sorry if that doesn't work for some of you but that's the way that we will go with that. And I wanted to say for everyone else this is great time to get behind the book because we will be launching a website where we sell both the PDF and the hardcover copy book. It's going to be €15 shipping anywhere in the world. But I am going to take January and February off. We're going to have a long, well deserved break. We haven't had a long extended break from the farm as a family since we began and I think we have about earned that. So I'm hoping this book it all depends on the printer but it will come back about it's about six week turnaround for the print run and I'm hoping to post all the people that support the campaign. Now I'm hoping to get these out to you as soon as the books come back. So I'm hoping that will be in December. It might push to early January but I will then post them in first class shipping. Then I won't be posting books again till March which means with a backlog of emails and other work that will be going on probably you won't get books till April. So if you want a chance of getting a book in December or January, I can't promise the dates specifically because I'm not in control of the printing, but buy it now, that's the best way to get hold of it. All of the PDF books will go out before Christmas that's for sure. Probably in November time that will be easier to manage. But this is a great chance to please share this video and let's get Regenerative Agriculture out in front of more and more people. I got an email yesterday from Elliot Coleman's daughter saying that herself and Elliot would like a copy of this book and Elliot has been a little bit suspicious of the Regenerative ag movement because it's been co opted by conventional ag to do chemical based minimal tillage systems etc. That's why I wanted to call this book Regenerative Ag. I don't want that word to be co opted by conventional agriculture and by publishing a book with this title I think that will help to put a spanner in their works as it were. And I'm sure Elliot will be very supportive of the content of this book. He is in fact named as a couple of his books in the recommended reading section, as you would expect. So that's it for me today. Have a great rest of the weekend and I'm going back to the farm tomorrow and I have pretty much polished the final version and I'm ready to get it off to the editor who will then go through it in the final week and that will give me a few days to then update anything that she finds then. And then I'll be sending it off to the printer and I'm hoping even that I could get the opportunity to go to the printers and actually watch the book being made. But I'll let you know if that happens. Okay, thanks so much for watching, folks, and thanks so much for your support. You can find the link below to the Kickstarter if you haven't already. And please support us on the Kickstarter now. It's amazing to see such momentum behind a regenerative agriculture book. It's probably the most successful Kickstarter campaign of any book in the field or space that's ever happened, as far as I can tell. And yeah, it's great to be able to support each other in this kind of way. So thanks so much and we'll see you in a video soon. Bye for now.
