So it's quickly coming together. The turning circle is going to really facilitate big vehicles moving around as well as the logging of our forest later in the year. So a little update from the farm today. Different things going on this week as we get ready for our no dig off market gardening training. Look at these beautiful colors. So halfway through the veg boxes. This is veg box number 10. What have we got going in?
We have curly parsley with one calendula, fleshy trout lettuce. We have chard.
Beautiful.
And really nice blood orange colored carrots.
Very nice red onions.
Cabbage, kohlrabi. And this week we also have microgreens, radish and sunflowers and patty pans.
Beautiful.
So we have a mix of this one. I think it's called slatana or it's.
An orange one that goes red inside as it ripens. And courgettes, very nice one of those. And everyone. Beautiful, beautiful. This is a mighty, not the prettiest tomato. 800 gram tomato, huh? That's a little pasta sauce right there. Beautiful. Good job G.
It's.
Well it was good progress. They only started really this morning and already the first base list going on. Our neighbours, part of the road association has been for decades and both of these neighbours actually so they're organizing this works and it's is paid for by the municipal because this is a public road and other people benefit from this, not just ourselves. We're giving up some of our land but we are very happy to do so and it's quick work. Should only take a couple of days. Look at that duck.
It's, it's.
Beautiful. Eggs. Thousand eggs a day still. Look at this. Chef Dan has done grass fed Fyoku heritage cow beef burgers. Onions, tomatoes from the garden, micros from the garden, homemade bread. Nicholas sourdough salad from the garden. What's this one? Little mayo. How have you made that? Pickles, onions, garlic, homemade mayonnaise. Look at this, look at this. Oh yeah. This is a man who likes to express his desire for food with facial expressions. What would you do for this one? The road work's nearly complete and looks fantastic. Gonna have a game of football to celebrate. And it's all complete and farms filling up again with people. We've got 40 people on our no dig market garden training for professional market growers. And really exciting timing with all the coming up work with the tool shop. And we've got a lot of great products we'll be selling in the coming months. We'll be opening up fully and caterpillar tunnels are pretty much ready to go out so really excited for that. Just a little update. I'm signing off for a busy weekend and I'm sure we're going to have a great time. The weather's a little bit patchy at the moment but always enjoying the rain after such a dry year and the pastures are growing green again which is wonderful. And yeah just a little snippet of a couple of things going on as we move towards the winter where we'll be felling all of these trees actually and so this is all going to become quite bare. I'm just up inspecting the other patch of forestry where just lost one tree. But yeah exciting times, busy times as always. Yeah thanks so much for watching folks and always appreciate your comments and shares and don't forget to hit subscribe and share the videos on social media. If you enjoy them, find them beneficial in some way and I'll talk to you soon.
