Richard Perkins wraps up a successful Kickstarter for regenerative agriculture training. He's overhauling the online course next year with new farm footage from across Europe, moving to lifetime access only, and raising prices from the current €1,000 discounted tier.

Okay, so it's quietness on the farm. The season has officially ended and people have left today. So the farm is just down to us as family now, and we're kicking into winter gear. This will be the last video I make about the Kickstarter campaign for regenerative agriculture. Now, I don't normally post videos multiple times in a day and I don't normally make lots of advertising videos, but this has been an unprecedented campaign and there's offers still available that some of you might not fully recognize the scope of. So I just wanted to make a quick update about that. And I won't be posting any more about our book until I'm actually posting them to you. At the risk of boring our viewers. I mean, I don't want to just bang on the whole time, but we are at the end of a campaign that has been phenomenal. It's been the most successful Kickstart campaign in the field of farming ever. And I'm both blown away by the support that it's garnered and excited by what this book is going to produce. Now, I wanted to make this video at the end of the campaign. I've just posted an update to the Kickstarter campaign that if you are considering taking out online training, then this is an opportunity to take out online training with a lifetime membership at a very low cost. It's just under a thousand euros. That's for lifetime entry to the training. And next year I'm going to be radically overhauling this training. I'm going to be traveling around Europe. Johanna is going to run the farm next year and I'm going off to see all the farms that we've influenced in the past years. And I've just been. The last couple of years I've become super aware of just how influential we've been. And so I want to go and see that, document it, interview the people involved. I know a lot of you enjoyed our videos when we went round looking at farms last year and there are hundreds of little farms that I could do that with and I want to get some inspiration from that and I want to see the impact that we've had on the ground. And I never get to leave in the summer, really. And I really want to take a summer on the road. I'm kidding my truck into a full off road studio. And I'm going to bring some epic content in a way that's not been done before on YouTube. And I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to release that yet, but a bunch of that will go into the new online training format somewhere in next year. I don't know exactly when I'm going to be overhauling that entire training to fit the chapters of the new book. I'm also going to be adding a bunch of content, I'm going to be adding more downloadables, I'm going to be adding a group on Facebook for people to be able to share and discuss for people on the training. And I'm going to start doing live questions and answers. Now. The chances are that training is going to become more expensive because right now as it is, we've been offering a monthly subscription and I know that's benefited tons of people, but I think I might even consider making it a lifetime only option. And the reason being is that a lot of people to save money, want to skip in for a month and out and there's no way you can synthesize the amount of information on there in that time. And it's going to be a huge amount more information in the coming months and years. And so yeah, that's something that's cost my mind at the moment. That's what I'm thinking. I don't know entirely how I'm going to release that, whether I will put it all for free on YouTube or whether I'll have a subscription service or whether I will try and raise the funds to fund that journey because it's going to be quite expensive trip to go all around Europe and just film for some months. So I'll be popping back in and out of the farm to manage and I'll be working with the people on the ground to manage what's going on at the farm remotely. But I think it's going to be really good. I'll get some rest, which is much needed after six years of just hammer time. And I'm tired, you know, I'm doing a lot with my diet right now. I'm still three weeks now on just meat and fat and salt and feeling great and really learning a lot re educating myself about diet and nutrition. But I want to go and get inspiration from people we've influenced. I want to see how other people are doing it. And I think from an educational perspective that's immensely valuable to see other people in the startup position, tools, techniques, strategies, planning methods, etc. And get out there and spread the word more. And I know a lot of you love that. I've been considering whether I should start a podcast, something like this and I don't know yet. I'm taking the next year to really feel into that and see where I want to go. And I think it's really healthy if this farm can operate without me and it were, I think that would be amazingly empowering to everyone involved and especially for Johanna to be able to get back out on the land, which is what she originally wanted to do. And she's been doing a lot of the back end tasks that, you know, she's very, she's trained and capable to be outside more so that's in the cards. But I just wanted to let folks know that if you haven't got a copy of the book or the ebook, then this is a great time to support that. The campaign is over less than two days and you won't get a copy until late spring, early summer next year if you don't back the campaign now. But also the online training is a great deal. It's lower cost than any other online training out there and I would say it's probably far more comprehensive and got far more useful data in it. I get a lot of messages all the time from people who have benefited from that and I really appreciate that. It's a bit rough and ready. It's not the cleanest, most fanciest filmed online training, but it's by far the most information dense. And I've seen all the online trainings out there and heard back from people who have taken them all. And yeah, I value our approach and I think the people that follow us also do. But that training will go up in price. It will have a lot more content put into it, a lot more functionality put into it. And I'm building like a whole network of people that can support each other through ongoing services, people that are looking for people to come and help with certain enterprises or people that can offer land to other people. I want to build a network where people I personally have met or know or people within the network know can really network in an efficient way. Where it's like, yeah, I know that person and you two are going to twig really well or now I don't think that's the best deal for you guys. You know, I don't know what it looks like yet, but I'm thinking a lot about it and I just see that I have an opportunity to leverage my capacity to be of benefit through putting a bit more time into my digital work, as it were, and I don't want to be doing that long term, but I do feel like I'm in a position to facilitate stuff happening in a way that would be supremely beneficial and so that's something going on. So I think it's a great opportunity. If you pledged on Kickstarter, but you're serious about this farming life and you want to make a living off the land, then joining our online training, if it's something you've considered doing in the past, then this would be a great time to up your pledge. You can up your pledge on Kickstarter and join on the self led training tier and that will give you lifelong access. And that's probably going to increase by 50 to 100% in the coming year as we really overhaul it and add a lot more content. So if you join that now, you'll have content there for the rest of your life. However we add to it over time and I think that that will benefit a lot of you. I know a lot of people have jumped onto that already through the campaign, but it is a special offer that we're making for the campaign only and it won't be there afterwards. So I just wanted to give you a heads up on that and I'll say thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I'm super happy with the way the campaign's gone. I think the next time you'll hear about this, I'll be sending out books probably piled up to the ceiling all around our house and I'll make a video about the process of writing a book and about the process of self publishing because I think other people will stand to benefit from that too. And I think there's a lot of poor information or lack of information out there for people that want to do such things. So I'll keep you tuned. I've got videos coming soon about making our low cost online chiller and reflections on the season. Today is the official end of our season. People have gone home today and you can see behind all the autumn colors are coming in. It's a really beautiful time of year, but it's slowing down now and we're kicking back into winter mood. So that's it from me today. Thank you so much and I won't be putting any more videos out about the book for now and I'll see you in the video soon. Bye for now.
