Well, hello, welcome to the snowy north. Welcome back to another episode, folks. We're launching the Kickstarter for this new book which I think is going to be an amazing resource for so many of you. So most of you will remember a year ago we ran a Kickstarter for regenerative agriculture. This 700 page manual that's basically a blueprint for how to do small scale integrity regenerative agriculture. It was amazing to see the Kickstarter. It just ballooned and became quickly the biggest presale of a book about farming ever on the platform. That was amazing to watch and thank you so much to everyone that supported us there. It's been a real pleasure to send that out to over 90 countries around the world this winter. I'm working on multiple book projects and we're proud to announce we've launched the Kickstarter to enable people to get pre release copies, signed copies and cheaper copies than when they will be out in the public sphere on the Kickstarter right now. So this is called at the moment Regenerative Farming. Human Scale Regenerative Farming Stories from the Pioneers. And it's come out of the farm like a hero experience that I ran all through 2020, interviewing some of the best up and coming regenerative farmers in Europe, many of our past students who have gone away from Ridgedale and set up incredible and exemplary businesses. And I was putting this together for the e book version for the hero experience package that we had online last year. And I was just so moved and touched by the generous sharing and careful responses that people gave. And I really want to use my platform to shine light on the unsung heroes, as it were. The people you might never hear about who are doing incredible work that I think need a light shone on them. It's my perspective that we all get caught up with Internet celebrities and things should look a certain way. But what I hope to do with this series of books, and this will be the first of the series, hopefully, is to show that things can look anyway and people are finding creative solutions across all contexts, all sizes of farms, all kinds of enterprises with different amounts of investment with different successes. And people are so incredibly generous, sharing their failures, their challenges, their successes, they're sharing their financial data. And I think it gives a wonderful snapshot of over 40 incredible farms. And this is really a proof of concept. The reason I'm doing a Kickstarter is so it's out there publicly, viewable to see how this does. And if it's successful, I will start writing the second book in the series, again focusing on EU farmers. And then if that's a success, then I might widen the sphere to the states, to Australia, etc. So we'll see. I also working on the Ridgedale Designs and Builds book and I'm collaborating with an old friend who's a CAD wizard on that. And so we've already started and made a contract about that book process and we've been working on amazing 3D plans for our broiler pans and eggmobiles and about 24 different structures. We're hoping to get a lot of the illustrations done by the start of our growing season here in Sweden, and that will be something that we'll put out later in the year. So a lot of exciting creative developments in the long snowy winters that we have here. And I hope a lot of you will purchase this because I think it's an incredibly beautiful resource. It's why I wanted to bring it to print. And I think the book is really aimed at anyone that's about to go into farming or anyone in the first years, first five years of running a regenerative farm, because there's so much insight and amazing data shared in here that I just think it's, it's a beautiful thing that I love to bring to the world. So thanks so much for watching, folks. You can see links for the Kickstarter below. See you in a video very soon.
