Start the RIGHT farm; our new short online training

Welcome back to another episode folks. Today I'm excited to announce the launch of our new online mini course, Start the Right Farm. So this is a different course to our full signature online training which we're running now in the winters only as a live event. And so I wanted to use this opportunity to clarify what this course is about and who exactly it's for. So this is specifically a short miniseries course that's designed to get you very clear about your context, what it is you value, why you're doing, what you want to do. And it's about economic planning for each enterprise as a test for the things that you considered you might want to do to see if they're viable, time wise and economically leading on to a full financial planning program to get you looking at how full farm economy is going to work for you, then looking at sales and marketing. And these are really the backbone of what makes farms work. So it's really not a course in how to do the things we do here. It's built around our ebook chapters. So if you've read our book, you'll be familiar with the specific practices, the numbers, the data of our enterprises and and then it gives you spreadsheets that are pre programmed in that you can change data relevant to your time, place and circumstance and get a back of a napkin estimation of the time and financials of any of the enterprises you've considered. So this is really a course for people that are sitting there working a job, thinking of changing their lifestyle, that want to move to a more rural, simple farm based life and want to test out their dreams in reality and get a sense of can you make this work in your context, with the time resources at your management and for your financial needs. So unlike our full training, this is not a training that goes into theory and farm planning. There's no things on keyline design or how forest ecology or soil microbiology works. It's stripped down to the bones of the behind the scenes things of what makes farms actually work. And it's a totally self led training. It's designed for those people who've got the initiative and the passion to really get deep into the back end planning before they make the leap and commitment into a full time life of farming. We've designed it for the people that don't have the time commitment and the financial resources to take our full training which is by far the most comprehensive thing we can offer. That's a three month full time study that's really designed to show you the intricate nuances of how we do everything we do in the field, on the ground, as well as links and resources to where to buy the best materials, etc. This training doesn't have any of that. It's self led. It's for you to get super clear about your context in your individual or family or business circumstances, run the numbers of the things you've considered and compare time and motion with financials so that you can get clear about the validity of your dreams and visions. So to reiterate, this is specifically a training for people who are considering jumping and changing lifestyle into a farming career, or people who have started a farm and want to branch out into other enterprises and want to test if that's going to work in their context. So if you've already taken our online training previously in the past, this is not a training you need to do. All the materials will be in the training you've already done. This is a training, as I said, for people that want to test their ideas out with a really solid foundation to know whether their dreams are making sense. Now, it's a low cost, affordable online training to get people set up in a targeted and logical, intelligent way. It's not designed to give you all the nuts and bolts of how to do things, although you'll find those in the PDF chapters of our book. It's getting you to ask the right questions, do the right research, and I think it's a perfect partner to go alongside the Farm Like a Hero Experience that we've been running all summer now with 75 of the best up and coming regenerative farmers in Europe, just to see the whole plethora of strategies, approaches to sales, to production, to land design, etc. I think it's so healthy to see other people's perspectives, not just get locked into someone like myself or other personalities you see on YouTube or in books, etc. Could look any way, as we always say, and whatever you decide to do, the most important thing is you clarify your context and do very diligent planning for the land and for the economy.
