So I'm excited to announce the roles and positions that we have at the farm next year. It's going to be an exciting year. Lots of innovations and new things at the farm. We've got four paid roles for next year, starting 22nd of March, running through to the end of October time, as well as three support apprentice roles where we're offering room and board and a chance to really learn about how to set up a farm like this for yourself through action learning, through doing on the ground, which is the best way to learn. And so all the details of that are on our website. I'll just tell you quickly about those different roles. So we're looking for two different types of paid farm manager next year. One will be focused on broilers as well as large animals like the cows and sheep and some other daily maintenance jobs etc around the farm. Now, the boiler production role runs at the start of the season along with everyone else, but finishes by the end of June when we'll have done all of the processing on the farm. And there's also an apprentice role to support that person.
We're also going to take on another paid farm manager role, primarily looking after the pasture poultry. And whilst we've got beautiful functioning eggmobiles behind us, one of the projects this winter was to make a version 2.0 that meets all the niggles and problems people have had around Europe that I've spoken to on the farm Like a hero tour this year and make a new concept for lightweight ATV pulled Eggmobile for 350 to 400 hens under €5,000, that's fully automated, has all the functionality of the models that you see for sale, up to €40,50,000. And hopefully we'll open source that and film the process with some of the people that have been on the tour who wish to collaborate in the build process with me over the winter. There will also be an apprentice for this role to support that person as well as looking after the big animals and other general farm jobs.
Farm manager roles are characteristically the most diverse roles here at the farm. It involves daily chores with the animals, but then there's a lot of other projects on the side that include building up our water systems, maintaining fences, any new construction projects. We'll probably have turkeys, maybe geese next year and we'll be doing some different trials with different breeds to work out some great new data for everyone that we'll be sharing here on YouTube. And so this is a role that suits people that are good with their hands, are strong, fit, healthy, can get up early, work hard all day and enjoy the bounty and abundance that this place creates. In the no Dig market gardens we.
Have one role as the head gardener.
Who'S going to manage the productions and.
In the no dig style that you're familiar with if you follow our channel. And that person will also have an apprentice.
So that role encompasses everything from starting.
Seeds to transplanting to bed care to working with row covers and irrigation, the harvest twice a week and the prep.
All farm roles will involve being part.
Of the sales and delivery. So everyone will be cycling through one delivery a week so that people get.
A real sense of how the products end up with the consumers.
In the Rico ring style sales that we operate in the same way that.
We'Ve done every year, all roles will be involved in poultry slaughter and you can see various other conditions and requirements that we have on the webpage linked below. We run a tight ship here and we expect a lot from people and in return we give people unparalleled access into the thinking, the planning, the design and how to create workflows and manage these touches tasks to make small farms work. So these positions are open as I said now, until the end of November. We're not accepting any applications after that date and after the COVID mess, we're going to favour people from Europe, the closer the better and people that have driving licenses. And obviously local language is a bonus but not essential. And we're really excited to take in the applications. We often get far more applications than we can obviously house here, but we're excited to meet some of you now. So we invite you to make a short video to introduce yourself and then fill in the form that you'll find on the webpage. Having read all the information very thoroughly and very carefully, we look forward to hearing from you and putting together an amazing team for 2021.
