The YouTube video, created and uploaded by Rick Lee James, presents a worship medley that fuses the classic Christmas hymn “Angels from the Realms of Glory” with the modern chorus “Hear Us From Heaven.” The lyrics invite listeners to proclaim the birth of the Messiah, worship Christ the newborn King, and reflect on biblical imagery such as shepherds watching their flocks and saints awaiting divine revelation. Interwoven with the traditional verses are contemporary pleas—“open the blind eyes, unlock the deaf ears,” “hear us from heaven, touch our generation”—expressing a collective cry for spiritual awakening and divine intervention. The piece functions both as a devotional proclamation and a call for the church to respond to God’s presence in the world.

Chapters

Ye who sang creation's story now proclaim Messiah's birth. Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the newborn King. Shepherds in the fields abiding, Watching o'er your flocks by night, God with man is now residing. Yonder shines the infant light. Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the newborn King. Saints before the altar bending, watching long in hope and fear. Suddenly the Lord descending in his temple shall appear. <LYRICS>So open the blind eyes, unlock the deaf ears. Come to your people as we're drowning. Hear us from heaven, touch our generation. We are your people crying out in desperation. Open the blind eyes, unlock the deaf ears.</LYRICS> Mephis, come to your people as we draw near. Hear us from heaven, touch our generation. We are your people crying out in desperation. So come and worship, come and worship. Worship Christ, the newborn King.
