This excerpt presents the opening lyrics of a Christian worship song titled “More Than The Watchman,” which draws inspiration from Psalm 130. The singer expresses deep trust in God’s word, acknowledges receiving grace despite unworthiness, and likens the soul’s longing for God to a watchman awaiting the morning. The passage emphasizes themes of patient waiting, divine grace, and spiritual anticipation.
