Hey everybody, welcome back to Voices in My Head. As always, I'm your host Rick Lee James, and that music that you were just hearing on the intro is actually the intro to my new song Up on the Mountain, and it's going to be released on the 12th of July, and, uh, Forgive me if I'm a little out of breath. I just finished a 6-mile run, and as with the busyness of life, this is my cool-down walk, and it's my one chance in the day before I head into the hospital for another long day working as a chaplain to just talk to you briefly. I'm sorry I haven't had a podcast in a few weeks. I'm right in the middle of so much schoolwork this summer, pretty much working full-time at the hospital while also working at the church. My boss at work. Uh, this was his last week because he resigned to go elsewhere, uh, to a different hospital system. So, uh, it's been a last week there at the hospital. And also it's the last week at my church for, uh, my senior pastor Keith Sarver, who is, uh, retiring. So, uh, it's been extra duties everywhere, and, uh, I just haven't had time honestly to do a podcast, although I do have some guests scheduled in the future, which I'm very excited about. But I thought today on this walk would be a good opportunity just briefly to talk to you about my new song. We just finished making a music video for it. Again, the song is called Up on the Mountain. You can go to my website rickleejames.com or any of my social media pages and you will see some new promo pictures on the page. You will see some links where you can go and pre-save the song on Spotify and And again, it comes out on July 12th, but on July 11th, the day before, I'm gonna be on a live television show called CFN Live, which is on the Catholic Faith Network. If you don't have that on your cable station or on your local, I believe it's New Jersey station, you can actually download the Catholic Faith Network app on your television, on your phones, on your computers, on your iPads, everywhere you watch. You know how to do it. And you can watch it stream live on the morning, of July 11th, and they're going to be the first to feature the music video, and they're going to be interviewing me about the new music. And so I'm excited to be able to share. What I really need from you guys, if you could, uh, if just support the song by first going to the link on my website, on social media pages, and just pre-saving the song on Spotify. And then if you could share the link, talk about a little bit if you like it, um, I'm not sharing much about the music video yet because there's kind of a big surprise on the video that I don't want to give away, and I'm really excited about. But man, I'm just— I'm pumped. I'm excited about making new music. And in all the busyness of life right now, music has always been my lifeline, and it continues to be in this new season of life. Who knows what lies ahead down the road, but I'm excited about being able to make music again. So I'm gonna close out today by again just playing a little bit of Up on the Mountain, kind of a little preview for you to hear, but I'm really excited about it. So again, rickleejames.com, or go to me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. They're all @rickleejames. You'll be able to find me. Share it with a friend, like it, pre-save it, and please play the heck out of it on July 12th whenever it releases. Share the music video around on July 11th when it releases.. And, uh, yeah, that's about it for now. Hope you guys have a wonderful week. Thank you for all your support. Thank you for listening to Voices in My Head, and new episodes coming soon. So let me play out with a little more Up on the Mountain.
Commands. What are you doing here? God asked Elijah. He said, Jezebel is after me and won't rest until I'm dead. Whoa, whoa, up on the mountain. Whoa, whoa, up on the mountain of the Lord.
