Hello friends, Rick Lee James here, and I want to tell you about a new project that I'm working on very soon. As an independent artist serving local churches for really most of my adult life, my creative projects have never been funded by record labels or had the audio quality even the major labels are able to capture. Mostly I've done recordings in my house, in live venue settings, or in home studios of friends. But with this album, I really want to do something different. I'm feeling led to try something in Nashville this time. My goal as a minister of the gospel, as a worship pastor, has always been to share the gospel of Christ with all who have ears to hear. Being that's the case, I want to deliver the best audio and video quality that I possibly can on this next album. Craig Adams is manager of creative development, A&R, and publishing at Lifeway Worship. In his 30+ years of experience in the music industry, he has produced artist recordings, instrumental recordings, radio commercials, audio for video, printed anthems, musicals for church music publishers like Word Records, Brentwood Benson LifeWay Worship, Lilliness Music Publishing, Praise Him Soundtracks, Greg Nelson Music, many more. He's a 5-time Dove Award winner. He's a 10-time Dove Award nominee. And Craig has become a dear friend and has graciously offered to work with me as the producer of my next album. So this album is going to consist of 10 hymns which I have either written, co-written, or reimagined for use in local congregations. To serve congregations everywhere, we want to record this album in Nashville in state-of-the-art studios using some of the best musicians in the world, documenting our work on video for the benefit of local churches who wish to use the music in their congregational settings. Well, as you might imagine, an endeavor like this will be very expensive, and quite frankly, it's beyond what I can do without the help of God and God's people.
Craig has projected our expenses to produce this album will probably be right around $25,000, which means with fees that we have to pay to crowdfunding sources and things like that, we're probably gonna need closer— raise closer to $30,000. Now, this is an ambitious goal, but it's one I believe we can achieve with the help of God's good people. Today, we would like to give you the opportunity to partner with us on this creative endeavor for the church. We want to give you the opportunity to pre-order this worship album before it comes out, and in so doing, you'll be able to help us make it with the funds that are provided. Now, if you'd like to know what these songs sound like in advance, because you kind of want to know what you're giving your money to, you can go to my website at rickleejames.com, or you can just go straight to my YouTube page at youtube.com/rickleejames. You'll find a playlist there of hymns where you can hear some some of these songs in their very rough form right now. It's usually just me with the guitar, me at my piano, but it gives you a feel for what the album could be. And we want it to be something that is recorded professionally, something that's ready for radio, something that videos can be shared around the world. In the scope of things, $30,000 isn't very much to get this into worldwide distribution, to get it into places that will play it, to get it into the hands of churches around the world that can use this. It's my hope and my prayer that we'll be able to actually offer this music, these sheet music and lead sheets and things like that, as much as possible free for the church to use once it's complete and once we've been able to pay our expenses. So, uh, pray with us on that. And if you're so feeling led, please give. If you can't give, pray for us. And if you if you can do nothing else than pray, that would be a fantastic thing because prayer is powerful. And please share this video, share the links to the crowdfunding pages that we're going to be using.
We need your help.
We can't do this alone. I can't do it with just like 50 people. It's going to take hundreds, and we need your help. There's a lot of great rewards. You'll be able to find things like bringing me to your church with a band where I can lead worship lead some workshops. I'm just very excited about the prospect of the future for this and a new way and new doors to minister in a greater way for the kingdom of God. And lastly, if you have any questions about this project, you can ask me personally. Just go to my website at rickleejames.com/contact. You can fill out a form there, you can call a phone number, and I'll be happy to answer any questions that you you have. I'd love to partner with you. I want you to be a part of this album with me. I want to offer myself as much as I can and be accessible to you. So again, God bless, take care, we'll see you soon.
Mm, today, tomorrow, in ages past. The Alpha, Omega, the first and last. Who is, who was, who is to The Father, the Lord, the Spirit, the risen Son.
