The video presents a solo performance by Rick Lee James of a devotional song titled “I Lift Up My Eyes.” The lyrics consist of a series of prayers and declarations that repeatedly ask, “Where does my help come from?” and answer that help comes from the Lord, the maker of earth and heaven. The singer expresses a desire to be saved from deceitful people, contrasts war with personal peace, and affirms continual prayer, trust that God does not sleep, and confidence that God will answer in distress. The piece relies heavily on repetition to emphasize devotion, reliance on divine assistance, and a hopeful, earnest tone.

Chapters

Save me, oh God, from lying tongues. I've lived too long with those who have no love. So I lift up my eyes. Where does my help come from? My help comes from you, maker of earth and heaven. They are for war, and I am for peace. I pray day and night. I know, Lord, you do not sleep, so I lift up my eyes. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. Comes from you, maker of earth and heaven. I cried to the Lord in my distress. He will answer me, I know he will answer me. So I I lift up my eyes. Where does my help come from? My help comes from you, Maker of earth and heaven. I lift up my eyes. Where does my help come from? My help comes from you, maker of earth and heaven. So I lift up my eyes. Where does my help come from? My help comes from you, maker of earth and heaven.
