The excerpt is a lyrical passage from Rick Lee James' YouTube video "(If You're Not Gonna) Move This Mountain". The speaker addresses God, expressing a deep sense of burden and pleading for divine assistance. Repeated motifs ask God to move a metaphorical mountain, part a raging tide, and help the speaker bear their cross to reach the other side. Biblical references such as Calvary and the notion of a better man walking the path underscore the Christian context. The tone is earnest, hopeful, and reverent, using vivid imagery to convey spiritual struggle and reliance on divine rescue.
