Two church musicians pair the hymn "Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated" with the melody of "Angels We Have Heard on High" so newcomers will recognize the tune. The arrangement uses hymnal page 455, rehearses in E, and shifts to F for Sunday service. They demonstrate how the Gloria chorus fits with the hymn lyrics.

All right, praise team, church, um, this may seem a little strange, but we're going to actually be using the hymn tune that we use for "Angels We Have Heard on High," and it fits perfectly with the hymn lyrics for "Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated." I have a feeling that a lot of people that are new to our church are going to know the other more than "Take My Life," so we're going to be singing the lyrics from page 455 in the hymnal, but to this tune. And I'm playing it in E right now, but we're actually going to play it in F on Sunday morning. So this is how it's going to go: Take my life and let it be consecrated. And we'll sing the chorus of Angels We Have Heard on High with Gloria, the Gloria in Excelsis Deo. I'll play it for you here. This is how it goes. So 1, 2, 3, 4.

Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to thee. Take my moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise. Though, though in actions he's failed, though Oh yeah! In ancient Sisdayo—
