I Cried Over the Woman I Became | SuperMom Spotlight | Shweta| Riddhi Devorh

In this testimonial video, Shweta, a mother from Bangalore, recounts her painful journey of losing her sense of self after marriage, motherhood, and a failed UPSC career. She describes nightly self‑questioning, feelings of emptiness, anger toward her son, and a deep grief over the woman she thought she had become. A chance encounter with a video from Riddhi’s parenting‑coaching community sparked a turning point: she enrolled in a masterclass and later a platinum membership, investing ₹30,000. Through the community, Shweta learned to embrace authenticity, spiritual grounding (chanting Krishna and Shiva), and confidence, which transformed her self‑perception. She began taking financial‑awareness sessions, eventually guiding 65 families and earning ₹10 lakh, discovering a purpose in empowering women around money. Shweta also highlights Riddhi’s leadership style—encouraging personal codes of honor and creating leaders—not followers. She shares three “power pills” for mothers: presence over perfection, self‑worth as the foundation, and taking the first step without waiting for complete clarity. Throughout, she credits her husband Ritesh’s quiet belief, the non‑judgmental community, and spiritual teachings for her healing and growth. The video ends with gratitude and an invitation for others to step onto the stage of their own transformation.

Every night before going to bed, I would ask myself, who am I? Beyond being someone's wife, someone's daughter, someone's mother, who am I? Somewhere along the journey, I had forgotten who Shweta is, and I didn't even realize when that happened. That night, I cried like never before. Many a times, while your life looks perfect from outside, You may be broken inside. I have not just failed in my career, I have failed as a mother. And about Riddhi ma'am, there is so many things. My life has completely shifted after coming to her, and I'm forever grateful for that. Good afternoon, everyone. Happy Friendship Day. And friendship. This community is more than friendship. It's like it has shifted me. Riddhi ma'am and all of you, you all have shifted me. Thank you so much for that. 3 years ago, I joined this EPH to raise my son mindfully. But I never imagined, before I could raise him, I had to raise myself first. So if some of you would have met me a few years ago, you'd have probably said, Shweta has a beautiful life. I live in Bangalore, have such a loving husband, beautiful kids, and everything that a girl from a small town of UP could have ever imagined. From outside, my life was perfect. But from inside, I felt I had disappeared. Every night before going to bed, I would ask myself, who am I? Beyond being someone's wife, someone's daughter, someone's mother, who am I? Somewhere along the journey, I had forgotten who Shweta is, and I didn't even realize when that happened. One evening, I was playing with my son in the park. One of the friends has came from the U.S. We haven't met in years. She just came. We hugged, laughed, and chatted. And during the conversation, casually, she just asked, "श्वेता क्या कर रहे हो आजकल?" What are you doing nowadays? I just froze. I couldn't say, "I'm raising my son." I couldn't say. I'm building a beautiful home. I couldn't even say I'm figuring things out. I just lowered my head and I said, "कुछ भी नहीं कर रही हूँ यार." I'm not doing anything. The conversation moved on, but I could not. That evening, I came home with the feeling I'm not doing anything, and slowly it became I am nothing. That night, I cried like never before. I wasn't grieving my career; I was grieving the women I had failed to become. I had the dream of becoming an IAS officer, serving my country, and then looking at my life, I thought I couldn't do that. I remember looking at my husband and son while they were asleep. Maybe they deserve somebody better. Saying those words are hard today, but I say them because many a times while your life looks perfect from outside, you may be broken inside. And life moved on. I was with my son, but somewhere that feeling kept on growing. Then one day, when I was again with my son, a normal day, he just threw some tantrum, and I just got so angry, I shouted so loudly at him. I had become such an irritated and frustrated and angry mother. Even though I was full-time, 24/7 with my son, doing everything with my son, but I was not present. And I was getting this frequent anger, frustration on him. And that day, I just shouted, he cried like anything, and later, I cried even more. That day I felt like I have not just failed in my career, I have failed as a mother. And when you feel like you have failed in one of the most important jobs of your life, how painful that is. And I remember that day, for the first time, I keep complaining with God why this is happening to me, why I couldn't do this. And that for the first time something became quiet in me. Then I asked a different question. Maybe I am the one who needs to change. And in that moment I made a decision. I don't want to be this mother anymore. I want to change myself as a person. And I just prayed to God for the first time. God, please show me the path. And like everyone else, next day I was on Insta. Not for the first time, I used to keep scrolling. Instagram like anything. I used to play Candy Crush a lot, not being present mother. But that day somehow, uh, I stopped at the video. I was scrolling and I clicked. Until then I didn't know parenting coaches exist. So I just— something made me listen to her and I clicked. And it literally, when I was listening to her, it felt like the God is answering my prayers. I clicked on the link, registered for the masterclass, and attended the platinum membership. The day before, my husband had transferred ₹30,000 to do the investment, and I invested there. And I feel that is the best investment I had done ever in my life. So after coming to the community, I found you. I was the girl like Sufiya said. I never imagined I can come on a stage and I can talk to anybody. I was so underconfident. I never saw any possibility in me. For 35 years of my life, I never saw a win in me. Even though I was topper, achieving so many things, but I never felt anything as a win. And as when Riddhi ma'am introduced this platinum win, now a lot of mothers told me, Shweta, we— today morning also a lot of mothers met me and say, oh, You are famous in the wins group. We keep reading your wins. And this shift has come after coming here in the Platinum. The first 35 years, even after achieving so many things, I never, never, ever felt I have achieved anything. Now even smallest thing I do or whatever happens, it feels like a win. So that is one of the biggest shifts that has ever happened in my life. And for the first time in my life, I had found a community, non-judgmental community, where I can just be me without any mask. I didn't have to pretend I'm living the wonderful life, I'm enjoying my life. I used to put a lot of things on social media showing people, oh, I'm enjoying, my life is so good. But I stopped pretending. Now I could share my struggle, I could learn, and slowly I started connecting with more mothers. I started healing. That's when I realized before raising my son, I had to raise myself. I need to heal myself. And the work started. And, uh, I remember once Riddhi ma'am putting that poll in the WhatsApp community, who manages the investments in your family? And until then, I, I was doing my work, uh, for myself, my family, but I never had done any job or anything. When she put that message, a lot of mothers were answering, and I was reading the response and seeing the poll. Something just stuck in me. It is not like women don't want to invest or learn about money, but somehow they don't feel confident to take financial decisions. And from day one, my husband had trusted me with all the financial decisions. And somewhere I found myself wondering, what if I can make more women confident around money? Not just to invest, but to understand money, to talk about money, to be an equal partner in your financial futures. And that is where my purpose found me, and I started taking financial awareness session. One conversation became another. One family became 65 families. Now I'm helping 65 families to invest with clarity and confidence. And I have also earned 10 lakh in income. But income was not the biggest achievement. From where I felt like, after failing in UPSC, I had nothing to contribute in the world, to finding my purpose, finding a way to contribute in the world. Looking back, I feel like I had not found my purpose, my purpose had found me. Thank you. And about Riddhi ma'am, there is so many things. My life has completely shifted after coming to her, and I'm forever grateful for that. If I had to just tell 3 things, first, what I love about her and what I have learned from her is authenticity, keeping the mask off. If you are not feeling okay, say you are not okay. She teaches from truth whenever she is vulnerable. I had also learned this thing. Thank you. Yes, I can be true to myself. I don't have to pretend what I am not. So thank you so much for this biggest lesson of my life. Second is grounding, the spiritual grounding. Earlier I had so much resistance. Shweta can't do it. Anything would come, I don't know, like somewhat like after failing in UPSC, I became like, I can't do it. Anything would come, I would feel like I can't do it. I was like A baby to my husband, always on his back, can't do anything. But then I found my confidence, I found my voice, I found my spiritual grounding. And as she mentioned, it is not just about Krishna. I am also from nearby Mathura. I love Krishna, but somewhere I got connected with Shiva. I also started my chanting circle, and that is where, like she keep on mentioning, we are the divine channels. So many times I had heard from her but never felt that. During one of the offline events when, uh, when this was happening, I truly felt like I am limiting myself. I am not the one who is doing. There is someone above me who is doing this, and I am just the channel. So when that feeling came within me, that is where the real shift has started coming. Now also today I feel the fear, but I know my mission, my purpose is bigger. Now fear, I feel the fear every time. Today also I was feeling fear, but now the fear doesn't stop me. I show up. Thank you so much, ma'am. And this is one conversation I remember when I was talking with ma'am and there was some point I was not agreeing with her on our one-on-one call. She didn't say you had to follow this. She told you can have your own code of honor, build your code of honor. And that is what for me is true leadership is. You don't need so— like my ma'am also mentioned, leaders are not those who are just creating followers. Leaders are creating the leaders. So even though I didn't agree, I found she encouraged me to build my own code of honor. So that is what I really appreciate. And it has really moved me. Thank you so much, ma'am, for that. 3 power pills, if I had to tell you. First is, your child doesn't need a perfect mother. Your child just needs a mother who is present, who knows her own self-worth. And second, the most important, you are worthy first. Everything else is just an expression of that. If from within you don't feel worthy, everyone around is going to see that in you. So once you start feeling worthy, and ma'am has shown us so many beautiful techniques, missions to feel that worthy, and the more worthy I start feeling, I start— initially I used to feel like I'm not worthy of my husband. I felt like he deserves someone better. I am not good enough. But now I had started feeling so much confident. Like ma'am said, now I know I am choosing him. Now I get like a lot of people who wants to be with me, but now I am choosing him, right? So that is also one major shift has come. And also, don't wait for the complete clarity. Take the first step. The purpose has this beautiful way of revealing itself once you try taking the first few steps. So don't wait for it; it will just happen. And before closing, I also want to thank one more person: my husband Ritesh. When I stopped believing in myself, he quietly continued believing in me. And sometimes someone holding that hope for you can have a lot of impact until you find that strength in you. And I just want to tell, if one of you may be feeling lost today, don't feel like your dreams are over, you have lost your purpose. Life has a different way of revealing our purpose to us. And I just want to end with one of my Sadhguru's favorite quote, if you become available to life, life becomes a possibility. Once I became available to learning, to healing, to loving myself, I became a different person. My life became full of possibility. And that is the shift. Thank you so much. The beat down to our feet. Together we glow, together we rise. We call clap to the beat. My heart is so full of gratitude. Yes, and I want to see every single one of you sharing, right? Because you're with me for a lifetime. Everybody is going to get the stage.
