My Brother's Last Words to Me Were I Don't Want to Be Positive Like You|SuperMomSapana|Riddhi Deorah

In this heartfelt testimonial, Sapna Suraj, a biotechnologist and mother, recounts her journey from feeling invisible and over‑serving within her family to becoming a confident parenting coach and PhD student, thanks to the mentorship of Riddhi Deorah and the EPH community. A painful moment when her six‑year‑old daughter declared she didn’t love her sparked a deep self‑inquiry. After discovering Riddhi’s webinar, Sapna adopted coaching practices with her children—writing exercises, heart‑mapping, and quality‑listing—that transformed their relationship and restored her self‑trust. She describes how the “Code of Honor” lessons helped her make independent decisions, heal after her brother’s death, and repair strained ties with her parents through spiritual reframing. Sapna now runs a parenting course (Limitless Mother Hub), has her first paid client, and pursues a PhD. She shares three “power pills” – don’t lose yourself while loving others, trust yourself, and remember your story isn’t over – and highlights three qualities of her mentor: simplifying complex ideas, creating confidence, and seeing possibilities. Finally, she praises EPH for preparing mothers for life’s challenges, cleansing negative patterns, and cultivating leaders.

My 6-year-old daughter, she told me, I don't need you. I don't love you, Mama. I like only Papa. My heart was broken. I just realized that what impact did I create by always giving lectures? He is no more because just few days before he could pass away, I told him to be positive. I decided for my children, To gift them a learning mother, to give them a mother who is ready to grow for their children. Namaskara, Bengaluru. Happy Friendship Day to all the angels here. For me, you know, this room is filled with angels who. are beautifully dressed in white, and I feel so blessed to be a part of all of you and to be a part of EPH. So yeah. How many of you have ever thought that you're surviving but not living your life? How many of you ever thought your husband made better decision and you never did? How many of you thought others are always better than you? So I was the all of these. Hi, I'm Sapna Suraj. I'm a biotechnologist. I did my master's in UK. I had a master's degree, and then I got married. And this was my life before EPH. I was a daughter, a wife, a mother. I gave everything to my family. I loved them a lot, but I actually thought that I'm disappearing from my own life. Because I thought my duty is to be a daughter, a wife, mother. I was just thinking of serving them is my duty, but I forgot myself. This is my world, my family and my daughters. I did everything for them. You know, I had— my life was just dedicated for them. But one day, my six-year-old daughter, she told me, "I don't need you. I don't love you, Mama. I like only Papa." My heart was broken. I was shocked. I started asking myself, "What am I even doing?" I thought I'm doing everything for her. But she says, you just don't go. You just leave the home. Just go away. I was just so shocked. Then I decided, I just don't want to be a mother who is providing. I want to be a mother who is able to connect to my daughter. I didn't stop there. When I was scrolling Instagram, I just happened to see Riddhi ma'am's ad and I joined the webinar. I had my younger one who was just few months, 6 to 7 months. One evening I was on the stroller and I'm listening to ma'am's class and one thing stuck me hard, be a lifelong coach to your children. Who amongst you believes that the first coaching happens at home? So when I— when ma'am said this, be a lifelong coach, because our children will evolve, they have different stages of life, and if I'm not able to guide them, help them, what mother am I becoming? If I wouldn't do that, they would look for resources outside the home, which I never wanted to. I wanted them to learn with me, to grow with me, and to guide them. But I just realized that this is also a journey back to myself. I just thought I wanted to improve my relationship with my daughter, but in the process, I rediscovered myself. One day, I was on a call with Ridhima. I was crying. I was emotionally low, financially low, physically low, psychologically low. And she said, you should be in Platinum. That was the best decision of my life. I already said I was financially thinking, even for the groceries I was planning. But when ma'am said, I surrendered. I said, how will I do this now? I didn't ask, I cannot. I said, how will I do? Then I realized that there is a piggy bank at home which my children are getting money from their nana, nani, from their grandparents. So I thought, with this money I can give them something materialistic, you know, maybe a car, maybe a cycle, toys, something. But that day I decided I will give themselves the better version of myself. So that is the gift I decided for my children, to gift them a learning mother, to give them a mother who is ready to grow for their children. What changed after EPH? The first shift was my relationship with my daughter. The daughter who said, I don't love you, started coming back to me every time she was in trouble. I remember 15 days ago, she just came to me and said— she used to never share anything with me— she shared, Mama, I have a fight at school, and my friend betrayed me. I thought for a while, and I asked her to just write about everything that's coming in her mind. So she dumped everything on a piece of paper. She felt relaxed. Next thing I asked her to do is have a heart. Draw a heart and tell me who is in your heart. She gave me all the names who was inside her heart. And then I had the third activity for her. I asked her, what are your qualities? Tell me your best qualities. She said nothing. I'm useless. A 10-year-old girl, she's telling, I'm useless, I'm nothing. This was also me once, and I knew that I'm— I have put that seed to her. But now that I have learned, I made her do one other exercise. I said, I'm going to give you 1 minute time. How many ever best qualities you will write about yourself, you will get that many gifts. She started, she smiled at me, she started. So once she began, 1 minute got over, she had written 13 best qualities. And then I said, I'll give you 1 more minute. If you write more, you'll get 1 bumper gift depending on how many you are able to write. She went on. So she went on. I gave her 2 more minutes finally, but she wrote more than 80 best qualities in her. So that time I just realized if I was not learning, I wouldn't help my daughter in any way. I would also feel helpless and not figuring out what to do next. But now I was coaching her, so I had become a lifelong coach to my daughter. And then I told her, look into your heart, just focus on what people are there in your heart. If there is something outside It's okay, just focus there. She smiled and she slept. That night I slept more peacefully because if I had not healed her, then she would carry these beliefs in her and that would really grow up into a big tree which would be difficult. And I faced that difficulty in my life. So I really want to thank Riddhi ma'am for helping me become the coach for my family. Thank you. for teaching me those values, to choose yourself first. And that is what I did. I think with this exercise, I actually gave her that confidence to love herself, to choose herself, and to see the good in her. So the biggest shift, deeper shift, was within me. I started trusting myself. Because every time in Code of Honor, ma'am said, you know, I love myself, I trust myself. I believe myself. I thought I didn't even give a thought about trust till then. But when she asked, do you order at a restaurant? I did. I never did. I said my husband would decide better. Do you take decisions? I never did. I thought my mother-in-law would take better decisions. And and if there was a stage, I would never go. I would you know wait for someone to go. Go go you can dance. Go you can. Then I would come and do something, but I would never do it by myself. That's when I realized, with all the simple examples she gave me, that I was not trusting myself. That day, that realization hit me hard. Then I decided to trust myself. So what did I do? I started taking small decisions. I never thought other others would take better decisions. I started. It may be imperfect, but let me start. So I started taking charge of my life, my children, my decisions, and everything changed for me after that. But life had different plans, and I lost my brother just 13 months after he was married. It was a very difficult situation for me because I said I did everything. As a sister, I kept on giving him lot of lectures, you know, be like this, be like that. But when he was no more, I just realized that what impact did I create by always giving lectures? He is no more because just few days before he could pass away, I told him to be positive. He told me 2 lines. He said, I don't need to be positive like you, and I don't want to be positive like you. I just thought, how can I even help him? But I just lost him. On that day, during the cremation, I decided that I should check out from here, not just like that, at least helping few souls. That— I think that was the day that seed of becoming a coach had begun. I chose not to collapse. I chose to stand for my family. for my mother, because my father still thinks I am not successful and he doesn't talk to me. So he feels I'm an, you know, unlucky child, something like that. So, or rather, maybe I'm not— you know, he did enough for me, but I'm not able to give back. So it's okay. But right now, I think because of his blessings, I'm still there, because I chose to stand for my mother, and I chose to stand for my family as well. Because if I'm not strong, everyone would fall back. And that strength is what EPH and Riddhi ma'am gave me. I healed my relationship with my parents because I used to think, you know, talking to my mother is difficult. But now, with lot of sessions when ma'am healed me, she told me, your parents should be treated like queen and king. Don't expect Anything from them. In Goa event, I started healing my relationship with my father. I thought, why this father? But that day I decided Krishna is my father. So he is there and my father is playing a role so that I become better in myself. So I started considering Krishna as my father and I healed my relationship. Every time my daughter used to see my father scolding me, she used to look at my face. But I used to just pacify, but now I tell her proudly, it's okay, my father is scolding me, but my real father is Krishna. Even if you are worried, if no one stands with you in your life, Krishna is with you. So I'm able to give that positivity to my daughter because of sankirtan, because of Riddhi ma'am. Thank you, ma'am. I remember just calling an EPH mother when my brother passed away. I said I just want to talk. You know, someone would pick my call and I would just speak out, cry, heal. And I really want to say thank you to each one of them who spoke to me during those times, because everyone used to cry there in the house, but I used to cry with an EPH mom, wipe my tears, go back and tell them, don't cry, whatever has happened is for good. So that's the strength. You know, my family is standing and I'm able to stand for them because of EPH. Thank you, EPH. So thank you. After that, I started my PhD at BS University. Yeah. So the 3 power pills I want to leave you guys with is Don't lose yourself while loving others. You cannot pour from an empty cup. You have to fill your cup. My daughter used to come and ask, Mama, I don't like your hair. I don't like your face. I said, it's okay, I'm beautiful. This is what I'm giving her as values. One day she said, Mama, my hair is so beautiful. I said, thank me. She said, why should I thank you? I have given you the genes. That's why your hair is beautiful. So, So she's like, what? She looked at me because you have to model that confidence. Only then they will understand. Tomorrow someone would come and tell your children, you know, I don't like you. That she will remember. My mom said, it's okay, I love myself. So, you know, these small things only help them shift. Trust yourself, because if you are not trusting yourself, you cannot raise a child who can trust themselves. I think I really I'm proud that I'm trusting myself so that I'm giving these values to my children. And when difficulties come, remember, your story is not over. That is when your story is starting. Thank you. And 3 things about my mentor, Riddhi ma'am. She simplifies complicated problems. If you had— if she had told me Complex things I wouldn't be able to relate, but she gave simple examples, very simple examples. So she made it so close and easy even a child can understand, because of which I could understand even the complex examples in a simplified manner. She doesn't teach confidence, she creates it. Today I'm here in front of you all without any fear. Just thinking that you are all my family because of the confidence you created. Thank you, ma'am. Thank you so much. She sees possibilities, not limitations. When I kept on asking her, ma'am, I'm not able to decide, should I become a coach, should I do PhD? She said, you decide for yourself. She showed me possibilities, and today I'm a parenting coach. I have my first paid client who's also there in this room, and I have recorded my course Limitless Mother Hub, and I'm a Freedom Finisher, and I'm looking to serve many more mothers, many more children, many more generations where a mother can lead and become a leader of Thank you. 3 things I like about EPH. It prepares us for tomorrow's challenge. If I had not met Riddhi ma'am, if I had not learned, if I had not grew, I wouldn't support my family during my brother's death. So it prepares you for life. It's not just parenting, it's learning beyond parenting. It's learning, preparing you for life, for all the challenges you may follow. In your life, it helps mothers grow inside out. It will cleanse. I feel it's the cleansing system because because I chant so many things. All the negative things is getting cleared. It is helping me grow inside out. So that is a beautiful community that does that. It creates leaders, not followers. Ma'am will teach us how to lead once we lead ourselves, our family. then our community, then we will lead our nation, and we are leaders impacting generations to come. Thank you.
