In this SuperMom Spotlight video, host Riddhi Deorah introduces Prasanthi Yalagadda, a homemaker from Kamam, Telangana, who shares her deeply personal journey of caregiving, infertility, motherhood, and mental‑health crisis, and how the Easy Parenting Hub (EPH) and Riddhi’s mentorship transformed her life. Prasanthi recounts marrying a disabled husband, facing societal judgment, undergoing IVF that resulted in twins despite medical warnings, and giving birth to a premature daughter who became the first girl child in her family. Overwhelmed by anxiety, she later discovered her teenage daughter withdrawing, eventually revealing suicidal thoughts, which shattered Prasanthi. Through EPH, she learned self‑connection practices, mindfulness, sankirtan chanting, and communication tools such as mirror‑image, conscious communication, and active listening. These practices helped her regain inner peace, reconnect with her daughter, improve family dynamics, and empower her to confront her father‑in‑law’s ego. Prasanthi expresses profound gratitude for Riddhi, describing her as an angelic mentor whose simplicity, vulnerability, and lasting guidance continue to support her and a growing sisterhood of mothers. The talk concludes with a reflective question about turning painful moments into life‑saving ones, followed by a celebratory musical chant.

Namaste, everyone. Namaste. How's the energy in the room? High! With this powerful positive energy, taking deeply, I want to share my story and my beautiful journey with the EPH. Let's start. I want to begin by asking you something. Have you ever smiled in front of the world while silently fighting a battle inside? Yes! That was my life. From childhood, I was known as a very bubbly girl, always smiling, always laughing, Always positive, but life had written a different story for me. I got married to my maternal uncle, uncle's son. He is a special child from birth. He cannot speak and he is partially paralyzed. Overnight, my identity changed from a carefree girl to becoming a wife, caregiver, and elder daughter-in-law of the house. With that came responsibilities, so many responsibilities, expectations, pressure. People believed that I should transform everything around me, and I tried with all my heart. I fulfilled every duty given to me. I may not have been perfect. But I tried wholeheartedly. But sometimes doing everything is not enough to the world. Instead of appreciation, there were taunts, judgment, hurtful words. You married for money. Because your parents are poor. You will never become mother. And sometimes, most painful question of all, they said, have you ever even experienced intimacy in your marriage? Today, standing on this stage, I want to say something honestly to my soulful family, that we never experienced that intimacy. But there was someone kinder than the people around me. God. We decided, we decided to try IVF, but that journey brought another twist. Doctors told something devastating: my uterus cannot carry a baby weighing more than 1 kilogram. And yet, I became pregnant with twins. But life had another twist. My second baby silently allowed the elder one to come into the world. And my daughter was born premature. For 12 days after her birth, I could not even see her. Imagine becoming a mother and not being able to hold your child. Those 12 days felt like 12 lifetimes. And when I finally held her in my arms, she became my entire world. She was the first girl child in the family after one full generation. My whole family celebrated. And my heart felt full. But inside me, some emotions started growing. Fear. I became a very anxious mother, always shouting, always worrying, always overthinking. What will What will happen to my daughter's future? What will people think about my parenting? What will my in-laws think? My mind was constantly running, and when my daughter entered into teenage, something started changing. She, she was not— she was getting lost in her own silent world. She was not sharing. She became quiet, disconnected. She was not interested in studies. And when her grandmother asked about her studies, she would get irritated, and a painful distance began to grow between them. At that time, my life was full of responsibilities. My father-in-law was frequently getting hospitalized. The house was dependent on me. And somewhere in all this, my daughter became silent. She was silent. At first I thought maybe it's just teenage behavior, but one day I came to know something which shook me to my core, which shook me to my core. My daughter had a thought of ending her life. At that moment, the ground beneath my foot disappeared. I felt numb. I felt guilty. I kept on asking one question again and again. Where was I? How did I not see her pain? As a mother, that moment breaks you completely because You realize the child you gave birth is struggling to find a reason to live. Around that time, Riddhi entered my life. Thank you. As a woman, we try to do everything perfectly, but as a mother, we carry a constant fear. What if something happens to my child? And that fear destroys you completely. Like a student, needs a teacher, as a mother, we need guidance. That is when I discovered Riddhi and the beautiful world of Easy Parenting Hub. And slowly, my transformation began. There are 3 major shifts which has happened in my life. Firstly, I reconnected with myself. With self-connection practices, something amazing happened. An angry, frustrated, and stressed woman inside me slowly disappeared. And a calmer— And a calmer, lighter, smiling version of me returned back. For years, for the first time, I felt peace inside myself. Secondly, my daughter came back to me. With the tools like mirror image, conscious communication, and active listening, I stopped reacting and started listening. She started sharing again. Her fears, her struggles, her disappointments. Every day, I started telling her, "I trust you. Stay calm. You are stronger than you think." Those small, powerful words became a medicine to her heart. She began to experience small wins in her school, and those wins rebuilt her confidence. I know something deeply, that being calm and connected with her saved her life. Thirdly, my home started healing with the learnings of tonality and communication. I finally found courage in expressing myself. One day, I asked my father-in-law something which I never asked before. I said, is your ego more important than your happiness, your health, and your family peace? That moment shifted something, and it was my biggest victory in 22 years of my marriage. Thank you. Earlier, I was short-tempered, irritated, and full of negative thoughts. But through EPH, through my favorite sankirtan chanting, mindfulness, and spiritual practices, My energy completely changed, and today something beautiful happens when I speak to my fellow mothers. My words started healing them. And a beautiful sisterhood formed among us. Now, I wanted to share beautiful things I admire about our mentor Riddhi. There are many things I admire about Riddhi, but 3 things which touched my heart deeply. Riddhi is an angel Who changed everything? I truly believe that she came into my life as an angel sent by God because of her teachings today. my daughter is still here today, and for that I will always be grateful. Secondly, her simplicity and vulnerability. Riddhi never tries to project herself as Miss Perfect. She shares her real stories, her struggles, and her lessons. Because of that honesty, we relate with her deeply. Her truth gives us strength. To be strong in our hardest moments. Last but not the least, her ideas guides us even when she is not present. Even when Riddhi is not not physically with us, her teachings guide us. During our hardest moments, her voice echoes in our mind. Yes. Because of that guidance, We get the strength to choose wisdom instead of reaction. My life tested me in, in ways I never expected, but those tests were my best teachers. Some challenges in our life are not here to destroy us. They are here to transform us. Today, I want to leave you with one question. What if the moment that is breaking your heart today is actually the moment that is saving your life tomorrow? Thank you. Ma'am.
