In this solo coaching monologue, the speaker addresses the hidden personal struggles many people carry—relationship doubts, career uncertainty, identity questions, or a vague sense that something is off. He explains that while friends, family, and colleagues are present, they often cannot provide a space free of performance expectations. He then offers three concrete actions: (1) Find a place where you don’t have to perform, meaning a setting or person who can listen without demanding you maintain a role or image; (2) Say your thoughts out loud, because vocalizing turns internal chatter into external awareness that can be examined and reshaped; (3) Engage in more than one conversation by committing to a year‑long coaching program. The program focuses on four interconnected life areas—faith, family, finances, and fitness—providing ongoing safe conversations, awareness, action planning, and micro‑habits that lead to transformation. He concludes with a call to action, inviting viewers to visit stansherwoodcoaching.com and schedule a 30‑minute discovery call.

You know, sometimes the hardest things to carry are the things that we don't feel like we can say out loud. Not because they're necessarily bad, although they could be. Not because we've done something wrong, or maybe we have. But also because we don't know how someone else is going to respond. Maybe it's something that's happening in a relationship or your marriage. Maybe you're questioning your career. Maybe you're struggling. With who you've become. Maybe you're successful on paper, but privately you're wondering, is this really the life that I want? Or maybe you can't even put your finger on what's wrong. You just know that something feels off. And there are people all around you— family, friends, coworkers, clergy, people who care about you— Accountability partners. But that doesn't necessarily mean that you feel like you can tell them everything because relationships come with history. They come with opinions. They come with expectations. And sometimes you don't need another opinion. You don't need someone to give advice or try to fix you. You just need a place to talk. So today I want to give you 3 things that you can do when you're carrying something That you need to work through, but don't feel like you have anywhere to put it. And stay with me until the third one, because I'm also going to share a way that you can work directly with me for an entire year if you're ready to do more than just talk about what needs to change. So here we go. Number 1, find a place where you don't have to perform. I'll say that again. Find a place where you don't have to perform. Think about how many conversations that you have every day where you're playing some kind of a role. You've got a mask on. At work, you have to be the professional. At home, maybe you have to be the spouse, the parent, or the person everyone depends on. And they can't see your stress starting to fracture because you got to keep it together. Around your friends, maybe you're the one who always has it together. And we get really good at answering one simple question. How are you doing? Eh, good. I'm good. I'm fine. And then we move on. But sometimes you need a place where you don't have to be good. You don't have to perform. You don't have to protect an image. You don't have to have the answer. Find someone who can actually listen without immediately making the conversation about themselves Or telling you what you should do. Because there's a difference between having people around you and having a place where you can actually talk. Tip number 2, say it out loud. There's something different about a thought when it stays inside your head. You can replay it, you can analyze it, you can argue with it, and oftentimes you can make it a lot bigger than it actually is. Because you get inside your own head. But then you say it out loud and suddenly you hear it differently. You might say, that's it. I'm not happy. I'm not doing this anymore. I'm done. I'm afraid to make change. I don't know who I am anymore. I feel stuck. This sucks. Or maybe, I know exactly what I want. I'm just afraid to admit it. And that's awareness. And awareness is where transformation begins. Not because Somebody else gives you the answer, but because saying something out loud gives you an opportunity. It's an opportunity to hear your own thinking, and a good conversation can take that even further. Somebody asks you a question, you answer it, then they ask another question. Suddenly you're talking about something completely different from where that conversation started at. You begin discovering what's actually underneath it. And that is powerful. Alright, tip number 3. Give yourself more than one conversation. I told you to wait till the end. I was going to tell you tip number 3. This is where my coaching comes in. Because one great conversation can create awareness. But transformation takes time. That's why I created a program specifically set around 1 year. And this isn't about a year of me spending that time telling you how to live your life. I don't believe that that's coaching. Instead, you have someone walking beside you for an entire year while you work through what matters to you. We look at your life through 4 important areas: faith, family, finances, and fitness. Not as 4 separate lives. But as interconnected parts of the one life you're actually living. We create the space for the conversations that you may not even feel like you can have anywhere else. You get to talk, you get to think, you get to question things, you get to change your mind, you get to figure out what's working, what isn't, and what you want on the next chapter and what you want that next chapter to even look like. And then we move beyond awareness. We turn what you discover into action. We co-create an action plan. Because my mission as a coach is to create a safe conversation where people can say the things that they need to say, rediscover who they are and what matters to them. And while they're doing it, transform how they live. That's what the 1-year transformation is built around. Not 1 breakthrough conversation. I don't even I don't even— when I'm talking to potential clients, I don't even promise breakthrough conversations. But it's a year of conversations, a year of awareness, and a year of action. And ultimately, it becomes a year of transformation. Little micro habits that carry into that. If you've been carrying things you haven't had anywhere to put, or you know something in your life needs to change but you haven't been able to figure out exactly what that looks like, I invite you to take a look at the 1-Year Transformation. You don't have to have everything figured out before you start. And that's where the— that's what these conversations are all about. Hey, at the very least, go out to my website, stansherwoodcoaching.com, and let's just set up a discovery call. Let's take 30 minutes to talk about where you are, where you want to be, and let's just see if it's a good fit.
