In this motivational short, the speaker uses the "deep waters" metaphor to describe the unseen layers within each person—unnamed motives, untapped strengths, hidden fears, and unpursued desires. He argues that most people skim the surface of life, moving from task to task without asking deeper questions about why they feel a certain way or what they truly want. Insight, he says, emerges not from forceful analysis but from patient curiosity, slowing down, and listening to the under‑current of one's inner experience. By surfacing these hidden elements, individuals can establish clearer boundaries, align with their purpose, reduce anxiety, and make decisions with intention rather than reaction. The monologue concludes with an invitation to join a daily coaching club on Patreon, where members receive ongoing motivation, mindset work, and support to continually uncover and work with their "deep waters."

A lot of you know I love talking about water and relationship to water. But before we get into today's message, I want to pre-frame something for you. At the end of this, I'm going to invite you into a daily coaching experience if you're looking for clarity, grounding, and guidance. So just keep that in mind as we talk. You know, the purpose of a person's heart Are deep waters. Most people hear that and they immediately think about, I don't know, hidden feelings, unresolved emotions, but it's bigger than that. It means you carry layers, motives you haven't named, strengths that you haven't tapped, fears you haven't faced, and most likely desires you haven't followed or allowed yourself to want. And because those things sit below the surface, we rarely stop long enough to look at them. We wake up, we grind, we respond, we react. We move from task to task without ever asking ourselves the deeper questions. Things like, why am I really feeling this way? What do I actually want? What is this moment trying to teach me? Deep waters don't mean something is wrong. They mean something inside you is meaningful. But clarity doesn't come from forcing understanding. It actually comes from drawing it out, slowing down, paying attention, listening to things you normally try to outrun. You see, insight isn't loud. It's patient. And when life feels foggy, when it feels disconnected or heavy, the answer isn't usually to push harder. It's about becoming curious. It's becoming curious about what's happening underneath. When you get honest about what's below the surface, what your calling is real, what needs are real, Well, boundaries are real. You feel purpose. Things start to align. Decisions become easier. Anxiety quiets down. You stop living in reaction and start living with intention. Deep waters hold direction, and insight brings them up to the surface. And if you're ready to do that kind of work in a consistent, supported way, here's your invitation. Go check out the website. You can join my daily motivation and support coaching club that's over on Patreon, where every day we uncover those deeper insights, build some mindsets that create clarity, and draw out the things that you've been carrying beneath the surface. Again, go check out the site and click on daily motivation. Would love to have you join me over on that.
