Okay, so you're a business owner or you want to start a business and you want to figure out the best books to read to help you get there. Now, just so you know, I'm not just a YouTuber. I actually have over 35 employees in my company right now. We do over $5 million in sales. And I also have one of the top podcasts in the entire world called the Mindset Mentor. I've read a lot of business books over the past 17 years, and I think that these three are the three that you should read this year if you want to make your business better. The first book is the Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. This is a really good book for business owners because it shows you that small consistent actions compound over time and lead to massive changes and massive results years down the road. As a business owner, most of our choices that we make every single day might seem insignificant at the moment, but they accumulate over time and they compound to really shape our entire lives. So if you're making good decisions in your business, in your life, you're, you'll love your future. But if you're making bad decisions in your business and your life, you're going to hate your future. And the key to it is consistency. In this book, Hardy emphasizes that consistency and positive behaviors and habits is more important than the occasional big efforts that we might have in our life. It's the small decisions that we make every day that lead to big results in the long run. Do the small things day in and day out and eventually it will lead to your success in your business. Remember, it's like the tortoise and the hare when we were kids. Slow and steady wins the race. Another big takeaway from this book is momentum. Once you establish a routine and you start to build consistency, momentum helps carry forward all of your efforts, making it easier to maintain and increase your progress. It's kind of like pushing a car. It takes a lot to get the car going to, but once you get the momentum on your side, it makes it so much easier. So when you notice the momentum on your side in your business, don't stop. And then the last big takeaway is patience. Understand that results are gonna take time. You're not gonna build a multi billion dollar business in a month. Instant gratification can lead to really bad choices. But patience and perseverance and hard work always pay off in the long run. So that is the Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. The next book is Rocket Fuel by Geno Wickman. This book was huge for me in my business because When I started my business, I didn't know who the right people to bring on after myself would be. It shows that there's two types of leaders. There's two critical roles in any organization. And that's what really helps me out. The first one is the visionary, which is who I am. And the next one is the integrator. The visionary is the creative, big picture thinker, while the integrator is the one who makes those visions into reality. Which is why you want both of them to be in the business. For the visionary. Visionaries are usually entrepreneurs who come up and start a company. They come up with new ideas and they have a strategic direction. They're driven by creativity and are typically the face of the company. However, they might struggle with details and follow through. On the other side of that, you wanna make sure that you have an integrator in your business. The integrator takes the visionary's ideas and and turn them into reality. They're skilled at execution, managing people and keeping the organization running really smoothly. They handle the day to day operations and often deal with conflict resolution as well. And the way that the visionary and the integrator work together is important. The combination of visionary and integrator creates a really powerful force that drives a company forward. This combination is what is referred to as rocket fuel. These roles complement each other with the visionary providing ideas and the integrator making them happen. So the main takeaway from Rocket fuel, among many amazing things, this book is the power of combining a visionary and an integrator in an entrepreneur's business to propel it to success. And the third book is the One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papazon. My main takeaway from this book is to focus on one thing that is the most important thing to you. It will make everything else in your life easier or unnecessary. Don't spread yourself too thin by trying to do too many things at once. When I first read this book, I was actually running two businesses. I was running an Amazon business and I was also starting up my coaching company. When I read this book, I realized that I can't be successful at both of them. So I need to find out if I look into my future. Five years. Do I want to be known as a person who's selling millions of dollars on Amazon or do I want to be known as the person that who is life coaching and helping people change their lives? That was a very easy decision for me. I realized that I wanted to be the person who was coaching people and changing the world. So immediately what I Did I shut down my Amazon business and put 100% of my effort into my coaching business? This book, I think, is the reason why my company succeeded as fast as it did because I stopped doing everything else. I focus on one thing and one thing only. And that is what actually helped me get to see success. Another thing that was really big for me in this book was taking time off and scheduling it. Now, when I read this book, I wasn't where I wanted to be in life. And I thought to myself, if I'm not where I want to be in life, then I don't deserve free time. But I was reading a book from Gary Keller who is a multi billionaire and I thought, I'm not a billionaire. He's a billionaire. He must know something that I don't. And what I found is that when I schedule my free time, when I schedule a take time off, it allows me to, number one, work towards a deadline to get as much done as I possibly can before I take that time off. And number two, it allows me to actually go live my life, do something that I want to do, take time off, and when I come back into my business, I'm actually a better version of myself that is more focused. So those are the three books that you need to read this year if you're a business owner. I promise you, I've read hundreds of books. These are the ones that are simple, they're easy, and they teach you exactly the mindset and the framework to be a successful business owner. So those are my three favorite business books. I'm curious though, what's your favorite business book? What do you think that I should read? Go ahead and put it down below in the comments. I would love to get some of your book recommendations so that I have some stuff to add to my reading list.
