I hired a life coach when I was 20 that completely changed my life. And we had a conversation one time that I would say is the most life changing conversation I've ever had. See, before working with him, I was lazy. I made excuses for everything. I had a victim mentality. And then one day he said, rob, I have a question for you. If a business fails, whose fault is that? And I said, that's the CEO's fault. And he said, if a business succeeds, whose fault is it? I said, that would be the CEO's fault. And he said, okay, if you get to the end of your life and you didn't get everything you wanted, you didn't have the love, the peace, the happiness, the joy, the success, the money, you didn't have all of that, whose fault would that be? And I said, that would be my fault. And he said, if you do get to the end of your life and you have the joy, the happiness, the love, success, the money, everything you've ever wanted, whose fault would that be? I said, well, that would be my fault. And he said, the problem with you is that you're living your life as if you're not the CEO of your life. The. The only way that your life is going to change is when you finally realize and step up that if something is going to change, it has to be you. And when you step into the CEO position in your life, your entire life will change.
