If you do this, it will change your life. It'll make you feel like a completely different person. Please, please, please try this out. Today we're going to be talking about going through a massive purge in your life and clearing out everything that does not serve you to becoming the best version of yourself. This is something that I recommend that you do every single quarter or at least twice a year, every six months, is to go through, look around your entire life and find out what you need to keep and what you need to get rid of. This can be personal items and physical objects. This can be thoughts, this can be habits, this can be feelings, these can be emotions. And these could be actual other physical human beings that we're going to talk about. So we're going to go through and talk about this because all too often, we hang on to things that longer than we need them, thinking that maybe later on down the road we'll have them, we'll need them. And it's kind of like that phrase, it's better to need it and not have it, or it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I don't agree with that phrase for cleaning out your life. The reason why I say that is because if it's not propelling you forward in life, it's weighing you down. And what you're gonna realize if you've never done this before in all areas of your life, is you're gonna realize after the first time doing this, and you feel lighter. You feel as if you can move quicker. It's almost like somebody who is running a marathon their entire life, and every single thing that they picked up, every person they started hanging out with, every negative thought, they just put a weight in a backpack. And once you start running that race and you've got a new weight and a new weight, a new weight is just slowing you down. It's weighing you down from running at your optimal level. That's the benefit of doing this purge is like reaching back into that backpack and pulling a weight out and pulling another weight out and pulling another weight out. Because when you purge, you move, move faster, you feel lighter, and life becomes more effortless, which is the important part. We want our life, our success, our happiness, our joy, our love to feel like it's just flowing from us, and life is just effortless. And once again, if you've never done this before, if you do this, it will change your life. It'll make you feel like a completely different person. So I'm going To challenge you. Please, please, please try this out. So it's called the Great Purge. What I want you to do is I want you to find one day in the next week or two, one day where you're gonna block off, and your entire day is just the Purge. That's all that it is. You're gonna get rid of as much stuff as you possibly can that you don't need that's not serving you. And you're just gonna Purge. You do nothing that entire day. You don't answer your phone. You don't talk to anybody else. You just get rid of whatever is not serving you in this moment. And I'm gonna teach you all of the categories to go through. And you know, this isn't just like spring cleaning. Like, there will be physical objects we're gonna talk about in cleaning out areas of your life besides quote unquote, spring cleaning. There's a lot of mental, physical, emotional. We're gonna dive into some deep stuff, but first we're gonna talk about the easy things first, which are the physical objects, right? Getting rid of the physical object. Before we go into the deep stuff, your job is to go into every single single room in your house and clean it. That means your children's rooms. That means, you know, whatever you're still holding on to with them. The clothes that they have, the toys that they have, the clothes that you've had since you were 19 years old, that you haven't worn in 17 years, but you're thinking maybe you're going to fit in those jeans again. Whatever it is, just get rid of it. Just take it to Salvation army, donate it, get rid of it, sell it on whatever, Facebook, Marketplace, Craigslist, offerup. There's a million places to save these, to sell these things. Now, just get rid of everything that you possibly can that you no longer need in this present moment. Right? This takes a lot of time. We've gone through it. We got through a ton of that was inside of our garage and rearranged it and made it so we could turn it into a gym. And in turn, we had to get rid of a lot of stuff. And then we go through each individual room and we're like, is this serving us to the highest good, or is this something that would serve somebody else if we were to donate it? Then from that moment on, we let it go if we feel like it's not gonna serve us at the highest level. So go through every single room, go through your garage, go through your office, go through your car, everywhere that Your physical body happens to be. You're gonna get rid of whatever it is. You're gonna go through your dishes, you're gonna go through your forks and knives and spoons. You're gonna go through your refrigerator, you're gonna go through your freezer, you're gonna go through your junk drawer, Every single that you have. You're going to see if you actually need it. And if you don't, you let it go. Why is this important? Because every physical object that you own owns a piece of real estate in your subconscious somewhere, right? Like it literally owns a piece of your subconscious somewhere. What's really interesting is they're doing studies nowadays and they actually found out that your phone, your brain, if you use your phone a lot, which pretty much everybody who's listening to this, your phone actually has a part of your brain that is designated to locating your phone and knowing where it is. So if your brain has a part of it that's locating and knowing where it is at all points in time or where it last was seen, don't you think that exists for other things? And so we're trying to get rid of all of the physical things. And then what you're going to do now that you've gotten rid of all the things that you don't need is you're going to design your physical environment to see, set you up for whatever it is that you want. So let's say, you know, we're about to take. We're having our Mastermind trip, our Kaizen Mastermind trip, our first international event in Mexico in 10 weeks, right? So myself, everybody who's in Kaizen, Dean, my girlfriend Lauren, Dean's fiance Jen. Every single one of us is trying to create the best bodies that we possibly can before we end up in Mexico. So it's a challenge. And. And so then I said to everybody on our last call, how can you design your environment to help you in creating the best body that you possibly can? What do you need to do? Do you need to find the picture of the person who has the body that you want and then take a picture of you and print both amount and put your face on top of it and put that picture everywhere and start to design it so that everywhere you look, you see this body and you go, oh, yeah, that's right. That's what I'm working for. Do you need to take that picture and put on the back of your, you know, your cell phone so that you see it all the time? Do you need to put motivational quotes in certain places, do you need to put your goals? In certain places, what do you need to do to design your environment? Now that we've gotten rid of things, what do you need to do to help design your environment, to help you support. Help support you to getting to the goals that you're trying to get to. You know, one of the things that we're doing is we also hired a physical, like a personal trainer that comes over to our house and works out with us. We have someone that, you know, meal preps and drops off the meals every single Monday. And so it's like, if you can do this, how can you start to. If you go, okay, if I do want to set up this perfect body that I want, what do I need to do? How can I help my environment? How can I bring in coaches and people to help me do that? If it's possible for you, everything that you want is possible. You've just got to come up with a plan to make it actually happen. So we've gotten rid of all the things that we don't need in our physical environment. Now we start bringing in the things that we do need to help facilitate us and help us get us to where we want to go. That's part of the purge. Getting rid of what we don't want, keeping what we do we want, and then bringing in what we want in order to help facilitate it. So design your environment to help you. The next thing we're going to do is we're going to talk about your mental state and we're going to purge your mental state, whatever it is that you don't need. These are thoughts, these are feelings, these are emotions, These are anything. The way that you talk to yourself. You know, if you go through and you ask yourself, okay, is the way that I talk to myself helping and supporting me getting to my goals, or is it holding me back? Do I build myself up or do I talk to myself? Which one is it? If you notice, oof, you know what? I did just talk to myself right there. What I'm gonna do is get a pen and paper and I'm gonna write it out and say, okay, this is what I just said. Is that supporting me? It's not. What would I rather say to myself instead of this? And then I start making a plan to get rid of the same thing that we do with the physical objects. I get rid of the physical objects that I don't need that are no longer serving me, and I bring in what I do need and design my environment to support Me in my goals. The same thing with my mental state. I get rid of the thoughts and the feelings and the trash talking or whatever it is that I'm doing to myself that is no longer serving me. And I bring in what I do want that I do, the loving emotions that I want to have for myself, the way I want to build myself up instead of talking trash to myself, the way I want to talk to other people. Is the way that I talk to other people helping me and supporting me, or do I need to change it? Do I need to talk to people differently? Do I need to talk to myself differently? How do I want to change the way that I am and who I am mentally in order to help support me, to get me to where I want to go? So you're going to take a pen and paper and you're actually going to start to write all of this out. Now that we've gone through physical, now we're going to go through mental. Okay, so what are the thoughts, the feelings, the emotions that are no longer serving you that you need to get rid of, and what do you need to bring in to help facilitate the growth that you need? So that's the first thing is the habits. Next thing we're going to go into that was the first thing is the mental. The next thing we're going to go into is the habits. Okay, so what are the actions and the standards that you hold yourself to? Okay, so if you say, you know what, looking at it, if I want to hit the goals that I want to over the next 12 months, I'm going to have to start waking up earlier. I'm going to have to develop a morning routine. Okay, what does your morning routine look like? What does your environment look like to help support you in that morning routine? Do you have a morning routine? Do you hit the snooze button 12 times before waking up? You know, and you look at it, you say, okay, what are the habits and the actions that I have that I don't want anymore? Once again, I'm purging all of the things that I don't want. You know, there's this habit of eating late at night. All right, I don't want to have that habit anymore. What can I do to get rid of that? Okay, well, I can get rid of all of the ice cream that's inside of my freezer so that therefore I can't eat it late at night, which will then facilitate me and help me getting the body that I want to. That could be an example for You. So you can get rid of all of the habits and the actions that you have. You can also get rid of the standards that you have for yourself. Maybe you have low standards for yourself. You have low standards as to what's acceptable for you have low standards as to what. What you will allow into your life. And you go, you know what? I'm actually going to get rid of these standards. I'm going to journal out what my standards have been, and I'm going to journal what I want my standards to be. What do I need my standards to be in order to accomplish X in the next 12 months? And you start to plan it out. You start to figure out what it would be that would help support you in creating whatever it is that you're wanting to create. So you look at the habits that you have. You remove them, the ones you don't need, and you bring in the ones that you do need, and you start making a plan. It's part of the purge. And then the next thing you look like, look at is the people in your life. So when you have the people in your life, you know, you can look at your friends, you can look at your family, you can look at your significant other. You can literally look at the people that you follow on Instagram and ask yourself, this friend right here, literally write down the top 10 people that you spend the most time with. Write them down right now. Take a pen and paper, write those 10 people down, the 10 people you spend the most time with, and ask yourself, is this person helping me getting to where I want to be in the life I want to create in the next 12 months? Or is this person holding me back? And if they're holding you back, maybe you should not even. Maybe you should spend less time with them. If a relationship is not serving you and the other person, it's time for you to get rid of that relationship. It's okay. Just because you've known someone for a long time doesn't mean that you were obligated to spend time with them every single week. You could spend time with them quarterly or every few months, whatever it is, but you can spend less time with them. So you look and you say, okay, what about my friends that I've had, okay, My friends that are partying and smoking weed on the weekends, is that partying and smoking weed on the weekends, is that getting me to become the person that I want to be? No, not really. Okay, maybe I should spend less time with them. What are the type of friends that I would want that would support me in growing into the person that I want to be. Are there networking groups now that we're opening the world back up, Are there networking groups that I can go to? Are there people that I can meet? Are there people that I can go get coffee with? Friends of friends? Like, if I know one person that's the type of person that's perfect to hang out with, do they have friends that I could meet and go get coffee with? Could we, you know, do co working together? And what is it that you could do to start to foster more relationships that support you in your growth? Okay, so that's your friends. Then you look at your family and you say, okay, you know, if you have family that is not necessarily supportive of what you're trying to do. I'm not saying get rid of your family, but what I'm saying is, can you spend less time with them? There's many people. It's funny because I talk a lot about starting a business because obviously I coach and help business owners. That's what we do. But there's a lot of people send me messages and they're like, hey, I want to do xyz. But my mom tells me that's a stupid idea. I'm always like, okay, well, what type of business does your mom run? And they always say, oh, my mom doesn't run a business, or my dad doesn't run a business or whoever it is. And I said, okay, so you're taking advice from somebody who has never run a business on if your business idea is stupid or if it's a good idea if you should do it or not. I'm like, that doesn't make any sense. That's like walking up to someone who's homeless and being like, hey, can you teach me how to be a millionaire? Right? Like, they just don't know. It's. There's nothing wrong with it, but they just don't have the knowledge to get you there. So if you're taking business advice from someone who's never had a business, does that make any sense? No. And so you've got to say, okay, you know, I'm trying to build this amazing life, and my sister is not supportive and thinks it's a dumb idea that I want to become an entrepreneur. Okay, well, maybe I need to spend a little bit less time with my sister over the next six months and just talk about, you know, see what the relationship looks like in six months. See how I feel in six months. Now that I've kind of pulled back from that Relationship. Just because you're related to somebody, it doesn't mean that you are obligated to see them all of the time. That phrase usually gets a lot of messages where people send them to me and they're like, how dare you tell someone not to hang out with their family? And once again, I'm not telling anybody what to do. I'm just giving tips of what could help them. But they say, oh, yeah, how can you tell someone to not hang out with their, you know, to not go see their father just because they're negative? And, like, if you heard some of the messages that I get from people of as to what they've gone through with their family, you'd be like, yeah, you definitely shouldn't hang out with them. Not just like, oh, they're negative, but, oh, they. They tell me I'm a piece of. They've, you know, beat me when I was younger. Some people talk about how they were raped when they were younger. Like, people have been through a lot of things. If you've been through some with people, you are not obligated to have to hang out with those people. I'm here to tell you that. Okay? So you look and go, is there somebody that I need to purge? If there is, purge, at least for the next three months, the next six months, and just see what happens. Give it a shot. Okay. All right, now let's talk about significant others. I get a lot of messages about relationships from people. And then people like, well, I want to grow this business. My boyfriend doesn't support me. I want to grow this business, but my girlfriend doesn't support me, or whatever it is, you have to ask yourself in the relation, the relationship that are currently in, is this supporting me in creating the life that I want? Maybe it is. Hopefully it is. If it's not, can you have that person actually support you, have a conversation, and if not, and they don't want to support you in any sort of way, or they are negative to you and they're not going to change, Maybe it is time to purge the relationship. It's up to you. Only you know the answers to these, but you need to journal them out and figure out what is supporting you in creating the life that you want to create. Now. Then you look at your Instagram and you go, am I following people on social media that are not the type of people that I should be following? Right. Am I spending too much time looking at all of the gossip in the world and watching the different Instagrams of, you know, people getting in fights or whatever it is. And you look at that and say, okay, well, you know, I don't want to be somebody who fights somebody else. But I'm watching all these fight videos, or I'm watching these prank videos, or I'm watching these gossip videos. Are those videos supporting me? Or is this person that I'm following on Instagram supporting me? So as you're going through this purging and purging physical objects, and you're actually purging people and thoughts and mental states and habits and actions, go through your Instagram, go through your TikTok, go through your Facebook, go through everything that you have and literally see the people that you follow and remove the people who don't support your growth, and then ask yourself, are there accounts that I should follow that will help me in my growth? Cause ultimately, you're in charge of your reality. In the reality that you have, you just might not have been intentional with as the past few years. Now you can wake up and be intentional and say, let me go through the Great Purge. Let me get rid of the things that I don't need, the people that I don't need, the thoughts that I don't need, the talking trash myself that I don't need, the habits that I don't need, the actions that I don't need, the standards that I'm not meeting. Let me get rid of all of the things that I don't need and build an environment that supports me in creating the life that I want. Because ultimately, if you do this, you're gonna realize you're a lighter person, and you're gonna notice that getting to where you want to go becomes more effortless. So the tip that I'll give you is take one day in the next few weeks, purge everything and everyone and every thought that you don't need anymore, and bring in what will support you in creating the life that you want. Hey, thanks so much for watching this video. If you want to learn even more about mastering your mind, click right here and watch this video as well. My business that was killing it at the time completely went to crap. I lost all of my money. I was five months behind in my car payment, and I was living off of pasta. And I thought to myself, this isn't my life. Like, this isn't what my life is going to be. I need to create something of myself.
