DO YOU HATE YOUR JOB?

If you hate your job, then this video is for you. It's time to stop sacrificing your happiness and mental health for your job. Because if you died today, your job would replace you in a week and go on like nothing happened. You know, there was a recent Gallup poll that found out that 85% of people hate their job. And Forbes did a study and found out that work is more of a source of frustration than fulfillment for 90 of people in the workforce. That means that most people hate what they do, but spend most of their lives doing it. And I don't blame them because we basically wake up and sell our souls to a company so that we can make a dollar. We rush out of bed, take a quick shower, grab a coffee, maybe breakfast to go. And then we get in our cars and sit in traffic for 30 minutes. And when we finally do get to work, it's completely unfulfilling to us. Then we le our jobs, get stuck in traffic again. And then you open up the door and you're completely drained. You throw in a microwavable dinner, watch Netflix, and then you go to bed so that you can wake up and do it all over again. And just like that, it's another day wasted. It's completely soul sucking. But work is the number one thing that humans do over their lifetime with their waking hours. So what do we do? What's the solution? What do do you? Well, you either make a change or you don't. It's that simple. Either you continue to work an unfulfilling job that you hate, or you quit that job and find another way to make money by doing something that's more fulfilling. And I'm going to tell you something that society won't tell you. It's okay to make less money, but live a fulfilled life and not feel the need to buy a bigger house or a new car just because your neighbor did. You don't have to keep up with the Joneses. Don't worry about what people think of you or your job title. And please don't say that the only reason why you have that job that you hate is to provide for your family. That's a cop out. Don't blame your children for working a job that you hate because it's not their fault. I understand the need to provide for your family, but wouldn't it be better to make a little bit less money? But your children see you working a job that you love because they're going to follow in your footsteps. They're going to do the same thing that you do. So if you work a job that you hate just to pay the bills, they're going to assume that that's just the way that the world works and do the same thing. It's important to remember that no matter how much money you make, whether you're the CEO of a billion dollar corporation or a janitor or a schoolteacher, we all end up as dust. So it's with great love and respect that I want to say this to you. Wake up. If you're not happy with your job, quit it and find something that you love. Don't look back at the end of your life and see unfulfilled dreams. Don't look back and see a life that was wasted at a job that you hated. Don't be so busy making a living that you forget to make a life. Remember this, you weren't born to pay the bills and then just die.
