In this motivational talk, the speaker explains that the fastest way to achieve success is to set concrete, non‑negotiable deadlines for your goals. He illustrates the method with Peter Thiel’s practice of asking entrepreneurs to compress a ten‑year vision into a six‑month plan, arguing that the pressure of a tight deadline forces creative problem‑solving and eliminates procrastination. The speaker outlines the steps: define a clear goal, attach a specific completion date, and commit to meeting it, noting that the day before a vacation often becomes the most productive because distractions are removed. The video ends with a standard YouTube call‑to‑action to like and subscribe.

I want to talk to you real quick about how to speed up your success. One of the easiest ways to speed up your success is to give yourself deadlines and force yourself to hit them. One of my favorite people to learn from is Peter Thiel. And Peter Thiel was one of the very first people who invested in Facebook and he is also one of the founders of PayPal. And Peter Thiel asked people, what is your 10 year goal? What is your big 10 year goal that you want to complete? If everything went perfectly in your life, what what would that goal be? And when they say their 10 year goal, he then asks them the question, how can you get it done in six months? And what I want you to realize is no matter what you do, you are the one that's holding yourself back. If you had to figure out a way to get your entire 10 year goal completed in the next 6 months or something tragic happened, you would figure out a way to get it done. And so one of the reasons why you might not be where you want to be is because you haven't given yourself a specific deadline. A deadline that you, you have to hit. It's just been a goal. There's no date attached to it. There's no specific timeline that's attached to it. And so one of the easiest way to hit your goals is to figure out exactly what it is you want exactly what the goal is, and then give yourself a definite date that it 100% has to be done by. Why? Because what you'll notice is if you give yourself a deadline, you'll start to work harder to get to that deadline. One of the most productive days of the entire year is the day before you go on vacation. Why is that? Because you don't get distracted with the things that don't matter. You get the things done that have to be done. That's exactly how it should be with your deadlines and with your goals. You figure out what your goals are, you figure out the exact reason for them, and then you give yourself a 100% definite deadline day that it has to be hit by and you stick to it and you get it done.
