You want to create better habits? Well, scientists have found that the most consistent people in the world are not the ones with the most willpower. They actually don't have great willpower at all. But they have built a life in an environment around them that does not test their willpower. For instance, if you want to lose weight and eat healthier, take all of the bad food out of your house and replace with healthy food and you have no other options. If you spend too much time scrolling on Instagram and laying on the couch when you should be working, take all of your couch cushions every morning and throw them into a different room. Where the are you going to sit when there's no couch cushions on the couch? Might as well do some work. See, the idea is not to break bad habits. It's to make it hard to fall into your old habits and easier to take action for the new ones. And if you do that, your bad habits will naturally start to break themselves and your new ones will naturally start to create themselves.
