Rob Dial tells a parable about two sons of an alcoholic father: one becomes a successful businessman, the other homeless and addicted. Same circumstances, different outcomes. It's about how you interpret what happens to you.
Chapters
It's like the story of the two sons who have an alcoholic father. And then they fast forward 30 years, and one of them is a very successful businessman, and the other one is homeless alcoholic. And they walk up to the successful businessman and they say, hey, why are you not an alcoholic? And he says, I'm not an alcoholic because my father was an alcoholic. And then they go up to the homeless alcoholic son and they say, why are you an alcoholic? And he says, I'm an alcoholic because my father was an alcoholic. They both had the exact same life circumstances. The difference is that what their life became comes from the way that they actually looked at the circumstances that they had in their life.
