Science shows that 80% of your thoughts are negative and 95% of them are the same as they were yesterday. Meaning that if you don't interrupt the loop of your thoughts, your mind becomes your own personal prison. If you want to change your life, you must first change the script that's running in your head. This is how you do it in psychology. This is called cognitive reframing. Number one, you catch the thought, you name it out loud so that you're clear on what it is. Number two, you question it. Ask yourself, is this true? Or is this just something that I learned from someone else? And number three, you replace it. Don't just say, I'm enough. You have to feel it. You have to breathe it. You have to write it down. You have to move with it throughout your day. It's not enough to know that your thoughts are negative. You have to retrain your thoughts on purpose every single day. Because rewiring your brain is like learning a new language. It's messy at first, but every time you replace an old thought with a new one, you're rebuilding a new pattern and a new identity. And so it's time for you to stop running off of an old, outdated operating system and start building a new one.
