Rob Dial argues schools teach you to fear mistakes and follow rules, not to think creatively or take risks. Real success requires the opposite: making mistakes, collaborating, and finding multiple solutions. The system leaves graduates paralyzed.

School system wants to keep you broke. It's built to pump out good employees that do exactly what they're told to do. If you look at school, look at the whole thing. It is a complete opposite of what it takes to be successful in life. Don't make mistakes. Do exactly what you're told to do. Take tests by yourself. Be a good boy. Be a good girl. There's only one right answer to the problem. But if you look at what it takes to be successful in this world, you have to make mistakes. You got to fuck things up. You need to work with other people. You need to brainstorm. You need to find synergy in some sort of way. There's so many right answers in life. There's not one right answer in life. So people come out of the school system fricking paralyzed, scared to death to make a mistake. And if you want my honest opinion, I think the school system kills children's creativity, and I think it's one of the greatest tragedies in the world.
