In this travel vlog, the host (Speaker A) and companion Lauren document a spontaneous desert‑safari day in Dubai. The video opens with a sunrise coffee view, noting the intense heat and fogged‑up windshield. They head into the desert for a classic safari experience: camel sightings, falcon encounters, dune‑bashing in a Land Rover, and sunset photography. The excitement builds as they describe the thrill of the dunes, the driver’s music, and the overall vibe. Evening brings free shisha, dinner, and live dancers, adding a cultural flavor to the adventure. The hosts also comment on the extravagance of local luxury—highlighting a car whose license plate costs around a million dollars and noting the high price of other plates. A local driver shares how Dubai transformed from a modest marina with a handful of camels to a skyline of massive buildings within 15 years, underscoring the city’s rapid development. The vlog contrasts this experience with their recent stay in Bali, emphasizing the stark differences between Southeast Asia and the ultra‑modern Gulf city. The day ends with plans to edit footage, possibly visit Abu Dhabi, and a reflection that the day was one of the most fun and memorable of their four‑month trip.

So the one thing that I want in life is a great house with a great view to have my coffee in. So every morning I always look to have a place with a good coffee view. And it looks like today I happen to find that great coffee view. Morning in Dubai before it gets too damn hot. That just feels really good out right now. Check out this view. All right, so we are. Oh, shit, look. Of course it just starts fogging up. Look at that. That's how freaking hot it is out here. Wipe it off this way.
There we go. That's better.
So we are going to the middle of the desert. We're gonna do a desert safari, which means I guess we're gonna hang out with the camels. We're gonna get on falcons.
Falcons.
We're gonna get on falcons. We got sunset pictures. We're go a land rover and go on dunes and all kinds of crazy stuff. This was not even part of the plan. Just kind of happened. So now we're speed walking to get there as quick as we can because people are waiting for us and we're going to go on an adventure.
Look at the camel. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Okay, I just need a minute to like, relax. I just need a minute. This is what I've been dreaming of. I just need a minute. Oh, my good lord.
So we made it to the desert and we're in the middle of nowhere. I guess there's just a camel hanging out in the the middle of the way. We're driving.
Look. So cute.
What's up, dude?
I just decided. What my parents dog. I just decided. Looks like a came now after seeing this one.
Camel literally walked away as soon as we got done pictures. I think he knew it was picture time.
Sam.
How was it?
It was incredible.
Lauren, how was it?
I've never experienced. That was literally the coolest thing I think I've like ever done.
Oh, my God. This is so crazy.
I've never experienced. Did you have any idea? Holy.
Oh, my God. Look at this convoy we have here. Look at how crazy the sunset is in this view.
Wow.
That one. This seriously might be one of the most fun things I've ever done in my entire life. Well, it's definitely one of the most fun things I've ever done. This might be like one of the best days of my entire life. This is so damn cool. We did all the duning and now we're heading to the dances. What is it? What is it? Oh, my God. I'm like 12 of these things. Oh, my God. This is so amazing. So there's free shisha. We want shisha. There's free food, there's dinner and there's dancers that are about to pop up over here as well. This is going to be good. Alright, so what do you think about it so far?
I was just saying that the dunes are like probably legitimately the coolest thing that I've ever done.
Yeah.
And I think that it. And I say like, cool in the true sense of like, cool. Like I felt so cool when I was doing it.
Oh my God, there's a fucking falcon right behind you. Back to the dunes. So what was what made it so cool?
Well, I think that our dune driver is probably like the most badass out of people that were driving that. Yeah, was really going for it and going for it. He was doing. He also was a good dj, I think he picked.
Oh, his songs were so good.
His songs were really good for it. So the vibe was cool. It was super exciting. There's a few like scary moments, but that's what like made it fun, right?
Two thumbs up.
If I had more, I need more.
The only. Well, use your toes and look at the surrounding area too.
It's sa.
This car right here. What? The car is like a hundred thousand. But you said the license plate's 300,000 or 3. No, a million. A million for the 76 because you want the lowest number you can get. So that one was a million. How much did you think the Bentley one was? Because it's 112.
300.
300,000 for the license plate. So the license plate is about as much as that car and the license plate's 10 times more on that car. That's crazy. Alright, so we're done for the day. We have now been dropped off. What did you think of today?
Today was so much fun. It was like one of the most fun days that we've had on this trip so far. It's true.
In four months. It's four months that we've been on this trip.
It was such a contrast from being in Southeast Asia yesterday.
Yeah, yeah. From Bali to this. All of these massive buildings. And then it was cool because the guy who was our driver has lived in Dubai his entire life. His father and his grandfather was both born here. He was telling us that everything here, all of this stuff has been built within the past 15 years. And he said when he was a kid, we're in the marina. He said when he was a kid, he'd come to the marina and all he would see was four or five camels. There's not any built, not any buildings. Just four or five camels is all that he would ever see.
So a lot has happened.
A lot has happened. Pretty good day. I got a couple good shots of him, and so now I gotta go home. He was so nice.
I had.
I have to edit a quick video for him and send it to him because we did a cool flyover shot that he wants and then go to bed, wake up and do it all over again. Tomorrow. I think we might go to Abu Dhabi, so we'll see. That's all we got for today.
